We have a trivia question for you. We want to know how you handle antibiotics and your knowledge of responsible #antibioticuse If you were in this situation, what would you do? Let us know in the comments.

Bhakti Chavan and @MSF are our #AMRChampions! She went through rounds of #AntibioticTherapy to no avail as she had drug-resistant TB until MSF stepped in with a new drug. She chose to share her story so people can know more about this threat, and that's no small feat

Replying to @LawalOluku
@LawalOluku is our champion for this week! He was a victim of a health system that misdiagnosed him, leading him to take multiple antibiotics for what was supposed to be a UTI. Now, he is a member of the @WHO AMR Taskforce of Survivors! #AMRChampion #AMRTaskforce

Everyone who sets out on a journey deserves to arrive safely. Yet every minute, more than two people lose their lives on the world’s roads. My friend @JeanTodt and I have arrived in New York for the UN High Level Meeting on #RoadSafety with one message for world leaders: invest in safer road systems now. Lives depend on it

Data alone doesn't improve healthcare; better decisions do. The strongest health systems don't just collect data; they use evidence to identify risks, improve processes, and deliver safer, higher-quality care. How has data informed a key decision in your organisation? #Health

For decades, health communication has stumbled at a critical hurdle: making global crises feel personally urgent. We routinely ask communities to change behavior, pay attention, and trust the message. Yet, we frequently fail because our messaging is detached from their daily realities. This disconnect is strongly evident in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). At the policy level, the language is powerful, targets are ambitious, and intentions are impeccable. But when policies ignore what communities navigate every single day, unreliable access to healthcare, lack of clean water, absence of diagnostics, the catastrophic cost of illness, and immense pressure on livelihoods, neither the message nor the response will ever stick. The HIV movement changed the world because it was driven from the ground up. Communities didn't just listen to policy; they wrote it. They demanded that high-level science translate into basic human rights: affordable medicine, dignified care, and localized support. AMR policy must undergo the same revolution. Communities are not asking for complex epidemiological targets; they are asking for the basics. They need clean water so infections don't start, affordable diagnostics so they don't have to guess which pill to buy, and reliable healthcare so they don't rely on unregulated markets. True policy impact begins with radical, honest communication that roots itself in these everyday struggles. If we want communities to protect the future of medicine, we must first address the systemic vulnerabilities of their present. It’s time to stop talking at communities about superbugs, and start fighting with them for the basic infrastructure they deserve. #AMR #PublicHealth #HealthEquity
