LG has finally responded after being accused that their smart TVs are secretly recording users.
The company of course says its not true and the TVs dont secretly record conversations, the voice features only process audio when the user activates them with the voice button or a βwordβ
LG also says that network scanning is a normal smart-TV function used to discover near devices and enable some features.
But the problem is that LGβs own privacy policy confirms that its services can process information such as audio, IP addresses, network environment data and voice recordings in βcertain circumstancesβ so yeah they are probably recording everyone and using it to sell your data or training AI
