What a memory from last week @crufts.
@SarahTheDuchess,
our dedicated Patron, visited us and her wonderful sister @lickimat - and met officers from @WMPolice & @WMPolice as well as handlers from @DogsHmpps - @UKBorder and @wmfsUsarDog.
The Duchess also kindly presented a momento from the NFRSA to @Hoppers71 and RPD Stark to mark their joint retirement.
Huge thanks to the fantastic Tom Wakefield @CotswoldTV who was there to record the day. If you ever need an excellent videographer and filmmaker, Toms your man. Just reach out to him. He does all our work and is unbelievably generous with his time and talent.
Enjoy the memories.
Thank you Ma’am for joining us - it meant the world.

During this morning, multiple crews from @WMFSSmethwick, @WMFSTechRescue and @WMFSWoodgate rescued a dog from the Birmingham Canal on Brasshouse Lane. The dog is now safe and well with our fire crews, and we are currently trying to locate its owners.

Last year, 236 people accidentally drowned in the UK. 83% of these deaths involved men.
We desperately want to bring these numbers down.
