Spoke to a college coach who is at PGWWB. Said he was heavy on 3 recruits. Watched them warm-up & carry themselves in games. All crossed off list. Poor actions before and during game and none handled adversity well. Pouters. When are player’s going to learn how much it matters.

Excellent weekend for ODF attending BSE College Showcase in Phoenixville, PA. Up to 30 colleges in attendance & several of our players made positive impressions, which will lead to further opportunities in the future. Thanks to BSE & all of the coaches who attended! #BESEEN

Scouts aren’t keeping box scores in the stands and rarely know (or care) what the score is. They’re looking for DUDES. They’re looking for skill sets. They’re looking for guys who play every pitch like it’s their last. Stop letting a bad AB or bad inning effect your effort.

Fill a college roster with a bunch of high school players who want to compete as badly as they want to be recruited and good things will happen.

Watched a young man play a DH today, he went off w/ multiple hits, outstanding plays in CF & flew around the park w/ plus energy all day.
But what did I notice most?
He was the only one left after the game picking up cups, bottles & trash in their dugout.
WE. SEE. EVERYTHING!

7-2 win tonight against solid Hempfield team. ODF off to a 10-0 start... @evanrohrbach21 picks up 1st career ODF W going 4 innings, giving up 3 hits, 1 ER, & striking out 5. He also lead the O by going 2-3 w/3 RBI. @j_seibert8 chips in w/2-2 performance. #bullseye

The old "dumb lefty" play. You practice defending these all year and they are still tough if they actually happen. teapawt.net/NCAACWS/status/1006347…

You can win games with talent, but you cannot win championships without a culture. #bullseye teapawt.net/troypsilva/status/1001…

Don’t under estimate sports at the D3 level. If high school players in any sport don’t get the D1/D2 offers they hoped for, there is a great D3 opportunity out there. Just have to find the right fit. teapawt.net/pbrpennsylvania/status…

This is exactly what’s missing for many who are working hard to create the perfect swing: barrelability. Being on plane & long in the zone is worthless without the ability to manipulate the barrel to wherever the pitch is. Single-plane swings can only hit single-location pitches. teapawt.net/coachwila/status/99203…

Don’t like ur HS coach, transfer. Don’t like ur JUCO coach, transfer. Don’t play enough at a school, transfer. Don’t like my travel team, jump ship. Don’t like my role, quit. What on Gods green earth are we teaching our kids. Stop it. Be resilient, plant roots, and fight.

OF: Aim to minimize time from catch-to-throw and gain ground towards the target. A few things to note:
- Momentum through the catch
- Shoulders pre-set to target
- Driving forward off back leg with shuffle
Great to practice footwork/transfer without taxing the arm #STdrills

Players - in the age of personal instruction, over instruction, and unknowledgeable instruction; trust the fundamentals and drills focused on fundamentals. #teework #fronttoss #shortBP Do urself a favor and check out retweets below. teapawt.net/coachmongero/status/96…
Front toss. Staple drill. Control the body & barrel. Show a relaxed & repeatable swing. The ball velocity and direction provides feedback...it tells you if adjustments need to be made. If needed, make them. That is self coaching. It’s what you do during at bats. Assess & adjust. teapawt.net/coachyourkids/status/9…
