Andy Burnham is plotting an early general election to raise taxes amid a 'meltdown' in the Treasury over the deteriorating state of the public finances, Labour sources have said. dailymail.com/news/article-1…
Chancellor John Healey is stress-testing a series of options for soak-the-rich tax rises in next month's Budget. He needs to raise an extra £10-15billion, which includes possible increases to capital gains and corporation taxes, windfall taxes on banks and oil companies, and an extension of the mansion tax. @MoS_Politics article

London needs more than an administrator. It needs a champion, someone who understands its potential and is prepared to fight for its future.

This enormous boulder in the China Flood is crazy! Hard to fathom the power it took to move this
The flood started with a glacier breaking off and dropping 4000 ft.
Great example of how glacial boulders got stuck in crazy places after the Ice Age ended

Polygamy is illegal in the UK.
But if you’ve married 4 wives overseas and moved here, you could claim up to £78,000 in benefits. Paid for by British taxpayers.
That is absurd. Conservatives will end this.
