Our study is out today in @NatureComms ! We analyzed cancer genomes from patients with Li-Fraumeni syndrome and found early copy number gain of the mutant allele of TP53 to be a characteristic feature of these tumours. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

👀 Sneak a peek at the deepest & sharpest infrared image of the early universe ever taken — all in a day’s work for the Webb telescope. (Literally, capturing it took less than a day!) This is Webb’s first image released as we begin to #UnfoldTheUniverse: nasa.gov/webbfirstimages/

ALT The background of space is black. Thousands of galaxies appear all across the view. Their shapes and colors vary. Some are various shades of orange, others are white. Most stars appear blue, and are sometimes as large as more distant galaxies that appear next to them. A very bright star is just above and left of center. It has eight bright blue, long diffraction spikes. Between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock in its spikes are several very bright galaxies. A group of three are in the middle, and two are closer to 4 o’clock. These galaxies are part of the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, and they are warping the appearances of galaxies seen around them. Long orange arcs appear at left and right toward the center.

Thank you @LauraMaeLindo for being the first MPP to bring light to the year long struggle new grads have been dealing with.
We hope that other MPPs can follow suit in advocating for timely licensure of new and capable pharmacists. @celliottability @RossRomanoSSM @TBayMOH
New pharmacy grads are at risk of board exam cancelation for the THIRD time. We seek immediate approval for the PEBC to be classified as an essential postgrad health assessment, subject to the same public health exemptions as schools
@celliottability @RossRomanoSSM @TBayMOH
While this solution is moving towards the right direction, it’s still contingent on gov waiving the 60d consultation period AND approving the proposal. This will be timely. @OCPInfo can grant conditional licensure w/o involving gov. Small win, not full win
1/2 The #OCPBoard has approved the proposed changes to General Regulation 202/94 under the Pharmacy Act, 1991 to allow for emergency assignment registration certificates for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and the Board will seek approval by the Minister of Health to…

We propose granting conditional licensure to pharmacy interns who have successfully completed an AFPC-accredited program and the PEBC Part I (MCQ) until they are able to challenge the PEBC OSCE or another examination that has been approved by the Council
The Pharmacy Act O. Reg. 451/10 states that applicants must successfully complete the PEBC OR an alternative exam that has been approved by the Council @OCPInfo @ONThealth
The 2T0 class proposed conditional licensure in early May to @OCPInfo foreseeing a second wave in the fall. QB, MB, NS have figured out it, ON can too.
Less than 2 days before the pharmacy licensing board exams, we received notice that sites across Ontario are canceled due to concerns from Public Health. We call on #PEBC @OCPInfo @UofTPharmacy @fordnation to prioritize these vital front line health care workers
Please clarify why our pharmacy board exam #PEBC was canceled bc it was deemed a “meeting” by @TOPublicHealth rather than an essential education event that would grant licensure to an important body of frontline health care workers?? @celliottability @fordnation
