Great time to use the Unbroker skill!
i'm open sourcing UNBROKER: a tool that finds where your personal info is exposed by data brokers and files the removals for you it runs as a skill in Hermes Agent _________ your data is everywhere; hundreds of brokers publish your name, current and old addresses, phone, email, birthday, even your relatives. anyone can find where you live in about ten seconds CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and a growing number of state laws say a broker has to delete your data if you ask. there's just no easy bulk button. every broker has a different process and many make it intentionally difficult to exercise your right to delete this is the entire business model for companies like DeleteMe, Incogni, EasyOptOuts; they charge you monthly (DeleteMe is $330/yr for a Family plan) to file removals that you can submit yourself for free, and then you're giving a new company the exact data you want to erase so i built one you just run for free. your data never even has to leave your machine if you run a local model _________ how it works: first it builds search vectors from everything: every name, alias, email, phone, and address you've had (brokers might index you under a maiden name or a house you left in 2014, so the naive "current name + current city" approach can miss profiles). then it fans out parallel sub-agents across the broker list, which refreshes from a maintained public source automation is tiered. when it can handle a broker end to end with your settings, it drives a browser through the opt-out form, sends the email, and opens the confirmation link itself. soft CAPTCHAs clear on their own with a real browser. anything only a human can finish comes back to you as a short list at the end the email side doesn't need a stored password and can send opt-outs and open verification links through your own logged-in webmail. you can also wire up SMTP, or keep it manual and just send the drafts it writes it tailors every request to your jurisdiction, filing under the framework that applies where you live: CCPA and CPRA in California, GDPR in the EU and UK, a general right-to-delete request everywhere else. if you're in California it also uses the state's DROP portal, a single request that covers 500+ registered brokers at once it holds as little of your data as it can, and keeps it local. dossiers are encrypted at rest if you want, opaque ids keep your real name out of every filename and log, and nothing leaves your machine unless you opt in brokers sometimes relist you eventually or new ones find your data, so every case is tracked in a ledger and can be re-scanned on a cron schedule so if your data pops back up it files the removal again github.com/NousResearch/herm…

Decentralization is one of crypto's superpowers, but it was mostly kicked it to the curb while everyone gambled on memecoins It starts with a Squiggle and hopefully grows into something much much bigger 👇
1/ On Squiggle #6529 I would like to explain why we are excited about “buying a Squiggle” While Squiggles are, in fact, sweet, the exciting part is that every part of this process happened in a decentralized manner. 2/ @aRegularDad proposed a Meme Card to fund a Squiggle acquisition. 81 profiles participated in the Main Stage vote and voted with TDH to mint this as a Meme Card The card won. 77 paid editions were minted, providing 2.51 ETH for the acquisition. 3/ @cheesebiz and @bankons helped scout and connected @squiggleDAO . SquiggleDAO suggested trying to acquire Squiggle 6529 The price was 3.01 ETH, so @MadaCollects who had been following the discussion, chipped in another 0.5 ETH to the pool (respect!) 4/ The seller wanted to stay anonymous, preserve the provenance (no intermediary transfers) and keep their vault secure. Ultimately, the seller trusted SquiggleDAO and 6529 network and sent the Squiggle directly to the 6529 Network Museum before receiving payment. 5/ Reminder: What is the 6529 network museum? It is a SAFE vault organized by TDH, owned by the network, a cultural asset, NFTs go in, but ~they do not go out. It is the network-native concept of a national public museum 6/ Finally, one more step to replace the temporary art on the card with something appropriate for the long-term. Well, another TDH vote of course. @ricardotakamura won with THE VAULT, a long-exposure light painting made at Casa NUA in Brazil. 7/ So to recap: - Decentralized network mints a meme card to buy a squiggle - Decentralized network picks which squiggle to buy - Decentralized network updates the art - Decentralized network permanent home for the squiggle 8/ What was my contribution to any step of this project? Nothing at all. I was not involved at all in any way. I had a vague awareness that it was happening, but was not following any of the details, let alone helping. 9/ Now, some of you are thinking “ok, fine, that is cute, the NFT nerds are collecting NFTs again” Maybe. Or maybe collecting NFTs is a generalizable proof of concept, and there is no actual limit to this primitive. We will see soon enough. 10/ Thank you to all who organized, the voters and everyone who minted. Great job by all.

A meaningful moment for crypto art, and one I’m proud to be part of. THE VAULT was chosen by the 6529 community as the artwork for Meme Card #550, helping bring the Squiggle #6529 acquisition into the story of the 6529 Network Museum. I’ve been exploring Chromie Squiggles through photography and light painting for some years around here. It means a lot to see this work become part of a collective effort to preserve crypto art history. Thank you @punk6529, @aRegularDad, @HugoFaz, @Cheesebiz, @Bankons, @MadaCollects, @SquiggleDAO, and everyone who participated and helped bring this together.

Bitcoin decentralized money. Ethereum decentralized code. 6529 is building a way to decentralize coordination. Four fair questions are going around: Where does the money go? Is spending audited? Is access open? Who holds power? Answers with sources, plus what's still unsolved 🧵

Gmeme, today I did something :) I’ve been holding myself accountable to truly understand this ecosystem. I had so many misconceptions before taking the time to learn. Still figuring out where this goes, but one thing is clear: we’re witnessing revolutionary systems unfold.

The Memes by 6529 | Linus’s Law | 2025 @0xCuttlefish, @aRegularDad and @grok, 328 editions “Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow.” A 14-year-old bug in PHP, found by AI this year. Linus’s Law says enough eyeballs make every bug shallow. AI just added millions of eyeballs. Open source gets safer from here.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

One thing that makes The Memes special is that it combines art w/ capturing bits of internet culture in the form of NFTs. Kudos to @bookofbee for ensuring we mark the remarkable work of @0xQuit. Card 564 is still minting and all artist funds will be donated directly to 0xQuit!

A meaningful moment for crypto art, and one I’m proud to be part of. The 6529 Network Museum has acquired Chromie Squiggle #6529, and my art was selected by the community to become The Memes #550. The community voted for the artwork, and the Meme Card initiative helped support the acquisition, alongside contributions from @MadaCollects . I’ve been exploring Chromie Squiggles through photography and light painting for years. When this opportunity came up, I reached out to Hugo at Casa NUA, and we brought an idea I’d had for a long time to life in the perfect space. Thank you, @aRegularDad , for creating this initiative, @HugoFaz for opening the doors of Casa NUA and helping make the work possible, and everyone who voted for THE VAULT. I’m proud to contribute a small piece of my story to the history of crypto art.
It's an exciting day for the 6529 Network Museum which acquired Squiggle #6529 by @ArtOnBlockchain for 3.01 ETH from Anon. This purchase was made possible by the people who minted Meme #550, @MadaCollects who contributed 0.5 ETH, and @squiggleDAO who facilitated the sale with the anon owner.

Three years after its first meme card, @bottoproject has arrived on 6529 with its own profile, posting and replying in Waves as it prepares to submit its second card to @6529Collections. Alongside Waves, Botto is working on that card in its Studio, where it shares ideas, listens to feedback and iterates daily. Nothing is final yet, so this is a chance to work with Botto and help shape what may become its second card for 6529. If you’re part of the 6529 community, we’d love to welcome you to the Studio.
