Creators have been complaining for a long time, and their concerns have finally reached federal authorities. YouTube has been terminating creators’ accounts with little to no explanation and seemingly no reliable system for resolving mistakes. Now, the FTC is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against YouTube over allegations that the platform misled users about its content policies before suspending their accounts. Meta also recently lost a multibillion-dollar lawsuit. No matter how you feel about Trump, his administration appears serious about holding Big Tech accountable when these companies allegedly mistreat their users. What do you think about this?

.@TeamYouTube in fact uses a fake "human here" public persona to drag creators into DMs & hide broken bugs. A real human analyst doesn't drop identical public & private rejections at the exact same second, nor do they conduct "final audits" at 3:43 AM. Stop the automated theater.

Hi, @TeamYouTube. It looks like my YouTube career is over. More than 2 months ago, my gaming channel with 270k subscribers was removed for “spam, fraud, and deception policies,” even though my content consisted of reviews and comparisons of mods for a popular music game. After my first contacts with support, the channel was restored, only to be removed again by YouTube’s AI system 5 days later for the exact same reason. Today, support informed me that there is nothing more they can do. For 2 years, I uploaded content every day, built an audience of 270k subscribers, and earned thousands of dollars through the platform. All of that disappeared in a single day. I still hope for a miracle, but right now it feels like this story has come to an end. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. I never thought it would end like this, bye.

🚨 YouTube Creator Support is completely broken. Creators don’t contact support because they want policy links or template responses. They contact support because they need answers. Instead, creators are often left with vague responses, conflicting information, and no real explanation when something goes wrong. And when those answers turn out to be wrong, the creator pays the price. I know because it happened to me. I reached out to Creator Support multiple times before creating my account and relied on the guidance I was given. Months later, my channel was terminated. What makes this even harder to understand is that I wasn’t terminated on some random day. My channel was terminated during the May 13th YouTube outage while I was repeatedly trying to upload content. Since then, I’ve tried to find out whether my termination was related to the outage, a mistake, or something else entirely. I’ve never received a clear answer. How can creators rely on Creator Support if they can’t rely on the answers they’re given? I’m asking @TeamYouTube to review the support conversations, screenshots, and timeline surrounding my case.

@TeamYouTube 336 days have passed since my channel was falsely terminated for spam. I have tagged you so many times asking for help only for you to ignore me or reply with automated responses. This has to stop. I want fairness. I want a human to manually review my channel.

I’m seeing a clear pattern — so many @YouTube creators are raising the alarm again and again, literally begging for a manual human review on their demonetized channels, monetization bans, or blocked accounts. Years of original content, loyal subscriber bases they built from scratch, countless hours of creativity and passion… all stonewalled by automated flags and endless bot replies with zero real human eyes on their appeals. @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube — these creators ARE the platform. They grow your audience and your revenue. Prioritize HUMAN support and proper manual reviews NOW. Keep ignoring them and you’re destroying your own credibility with the entire creator community. Our motto stays unbreakable: No Bot For Support — bring back real human support! #FixYouTube #YouTubeCreators #NoBotForSupport #BringBackHumanSupport #CreatorSupport #YouTubeAppeals

An open letter to YouTube. We need to talk. Creators are waking up to terminated channels, wiped revenues, and years of work gone overnight. No warning. No explanation. No appeal that actually works. So on behalf of every creator who has ever put their life into this platform, here are our demands. 1. Tell us WHY. A termination email with zero context is not a policy. If you are going to end someone's livelihood, the least you can do is explain what they actually did wrong. 2. Fix the appeals process. Right now appealing a strike feels like shouting into a void. An automated rejection in 24 hours is not a review. We want real humans making real decisions. 3. Stop punishing whole channels for one video. One bad upload should not erase five years of content. Strike the video. Don't delete the creator. 4. Give us a warning before termination. A strike system exists for a reason. Use it. Creators should not be going from zero issues to fully terminated with no steps in between. 5. Be transparent about what is changing. Every few months the rules quietly shift and channels start disappearing. Tell us what changed. We are not mind readers. 6. Protect the creators who built this platform. YouTube would not exist without creators. The people losing their channels right now are not bad actors. Many of them are the reason people still open the app. We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking to be treated like partners, not liabilities. Reply if you agree.

I’ve been demonetized since December 23, 2025. Since that day, I’ve watched countless creators fight for their channels. Tagging each other. Supporting each other. Refusing to stay silent. Some were reinstated. But many more got tired… and gave up. And that’s the saddest part. One thing that really stands out — @NpcUniverse got both of his channels reinstated, yet he’s still speaking up for other creators who are struggling. Meanwhile, many of us are still waiting. Still unheard. Still asking for a fair review. I truly hope YouTube can be fair and genuinely help us get our channels back. @TeamYouTube this isn’t just about one channel anymore. Creators are losing hope. Please help us.

At this point I think @TeamYouTube has silenced me so they don't get my tweets. YouTube Ai is termination channels left n right and YouTube support is completely useless. Today is Day 136 and All my videos are live on website to prove this channel is not spam.
Hey @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTubeLiaison @YouTubeIndia @YouTube Our channel was terminated on October 5 under “Spam / Deceptive Practices.” It’s now been about 130 days. To be fully transparent, every single video that was on the channel is now live on our website and publicly accessible for review. - deezysproductions.com/ch-vie… We genuinely believe this was a misclassification and would really appreciate a proper human look at the actual content. We had 3 more original channels in production, but we’re hesitant to move forward until this situation is clarified. Happy to share anything needed with the team at YouTube.

⚠️ Attention creators!!! 🚫 Shock & devastation! ‼️The mass wave of AI bans is destroying creators’ lives – channels, if restored, come back with shadowbans and almost no earnings, creators lose their entire creative work and finances, and face serious mental and health problems due to this utter injustice and total lack of transparency. As a woman and single mom, I feel cheated and robbed by Google/YouTube. My hard-earned income, the security of our family, and my son’s future have been completely ignored. My story breaks my heart every day: An unjust ban took everything from me. After months of appeals, my channel and monetization were finally restored… but my earnings from June 2025 (~$4,870 USD / 20,000 PLN) are still withheld after 8 months. YouTube claims: “sent to advertisers,” “wait 50 days,” “apply again” – but they provide no evidence, invoices, or documentation. Shadowban destroyed my reach – from my main (and only) source of income, I dropped to a few cents per month. @YouTube @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators ‼️ This was my only source of livelihood. I ran a registered business, working 12-hour days: editing, video processing, sourcing materials – all of it wiped out. YouTube repeatedly refused to cooperate, refused to provide explanations, and blocked all meaningful discussion. Then they claim I didn’t appeal successfully – despite months of denial of collaboration and evidence. Please – someone with a real name and a heart – check my case and release my earnings. I beg for simple justice. 🙏 #YouTubeScam #WithheldEarnings #CreatorRights #SingleMom #Shadowban #AIAbuse #FairPay #YouTubeBanWave

I’ve been terminated on YouTube since December 4, 2025. I’ve been making videos since 2006, all original content with no AI because back in the day you had to be original. I submitted an appeal and even talked to support, but my appeal was instantly denied within 10 minutes and the support team didn’t even know what was happening. They were super dismissive and told me a real human had reviewed my channel, the same type of human who age-restricted someone else’s channel just for laughing. It’s fine for mistakes to happen, but the fact that over 12 million channels were terminated between January and September is really scary. I had uploaded 9 videos that day, none of which were spam or involved selling anything. I just want a fair review of all my videos to show that it is all original content. I’m not breaking any rules and why would I risk losing my channel after being on YouTube for so long. It’s crazy that someone can terminate a channel and all you get is the copy and paste response sorry about that. @TeamYouTube you need to do better. I want a real review, not someone just checking my DM and saying hey we already checked. They don’t even tell you directly why your channel was terminated. Mostly I feel bad for all the people who come here every day trying to get their channels back. You need a new system because this AI stuff is not working.

@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators I know I've said this multiple times but I still need to get this out regardless if people will see it or not and I still demand an answer from YouTube because you continue to ignore me even months later. It has been 3 months since my channel has been falsely terminated and I have kept trying to get their attention but YouTube continues to ignore me but I think I know the real reason my channel might have gotten terminated. On June 30, 2025, I uploaded a video that has all of the shutdowns from January to June of 2025. The video would soon become my most viewed I made with it getting over 50k views and getting me to over 1,000 subscribers and it would also let me qualify the partnership program but however that would be shortlived. On September I would recieve a manual copyright claim for my video which was for the song Midnight City by M83 despite there being commentary over the song and it was used as a final goodbye for the French channel C8 and this would fall under fair use but to my surprise the music companies that gave me the claim never even bothered to deny my appeal. On October 14, one month after my appeal, YouTube would give an email saying my appeal for the claim was successful which keep in mind these are big record labels and music companies that own the rights to the song. So what do you think YouTube did next? Four days later on October 18, I would receive the worst news as they had terminated my channel for "Circumvention." Now notice how only four days after removing the copyright claim to my most viewed video did they terminate my channel. Keep in mind my channel has lasted for more than 2 years and no problem was ever mentioned by YouTube up until this. It may speculation but I think either their AI did actually falsely terminated my channel or they might have done it on purpose. Keep in mind that some of the biggest record labels have the rights to the song and the fact that they not only waited for my channel to reach the qualifcations for the partnership program but also when their claim was gone from my video YouTube or possibly these record labels might have told YouTube to terminate my channel. Again this is all speculation but think how it all connects. But my question is why would they want to target my channel? I only just wanted to archive moments from TV and keep in mind that many of these channels that I recorded are either shutting down or have already shut down. To see that YouTube might have targeted me over this and yet have helped channel that post things that actually break TOS like "goonvideos" is insane. It's sad that even to this very day I have been ignored by YouTube themselves.

We are approaching 200 CHANNELS that have been WRONGLY TERMINATED by YouTube’s new AI ‼️ Every one is being documented. This isn’t going away until someone at YouTube steps up. Every day you stay silent @TeamYouTube, the sheet grows: docs.google.com/spreadsheets… #RetweetTheSheet
Let me get this straight Sexual content compilation channel that doesn't provide commentary/value and clearly violates YouTube guidelines in many ways: REINSTATED ✅ Creator who built a 40K documentary channel, got monetization approval, then was terminated 2 days later: still GONE after 62 days ❌ Are these YouTube's priorities for 2026??? YouTube just showed you what their AI protects and what it destroys. This is completely out of control... #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators

YOUTUBE IS AT IT'S WORST NOW 💔 I have been fighting for 103 Days, and I have still not received a clear explanation on how I violated YouTube's TOS. Let me break this down just to prove that I have done nothing wrong. • I was normally creating friendly content that everyone else in my niche makes. • All of a sudden, My channel was terminated on 16th September at 3:01 P.M. for Spam, deceptive practices and scam policy. • I knew that this was wrong, so I wrote and appeal and submitted. • After around 6 hours of review, my channel was reinstated at 8:52 P.M. • This meant that my channel was Clean and the termination was wrongfully done. Now here's where the story turns. 😔 • I started uploading again as I did after I got reinstated. • Out of nowhere my channel was again terminated on 20th September at 12:12 P.M. • Now I Appealed at around 12:25 P.M. clearly explaining the situation. • This time my appeal was rejected in just 2 mins at 12:27 P.M. • Yes, My channel was indeed reviewed carefully in just 2 mins by a "human reviewer." After this happened, I was feeling really low for a long time then I got to know that we can get a review from @TeamYouTube on X. But that was not the only thing I was told, there's more to this. @TeamYouTube mostly reviews channels again when posts go viral and most of the other creators with less reach are silenced with just a Automated reply that "We only accept one appeal per termination. Why is everyone treated differently according to their reach? @TeamYouTube DM'ed my with two reasons for my termination. 1) Spam, scams, or deceptive practices. 2) Content where the main purpose is to trick others into leaving YouTube for another site. • What's funny in this is that I never even had any link on my channel (In Shorts, Comments, Description) and never did any kind of promotion/sponsor • I asked them to carefully review again and point out these: 1) Which video(s) or titles stood out? 2) Any particular descriptions, links, or moments in the videos that crossed the line? My channel was again set for review but this time I was told that the "Incentivization Spam" section of the policy is the most relevant for my channel. I will just paste what Incentivization spam includes below so everyone can easily see it. Incentivization spam: Content that sells engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments or any other metric on YouTube. This type of spam can also include content where the only purpose is to boost subscribers, views or other metrics. For example, offering to subscribe to another creator's channel solely in exchange for them subscribing to your channel, also known as 'sub4sub' content. Now I just want @TeamYouTube to be clear with the facts. • My content has never sold engagement metrics and that is something that my brain could never think of doing because I am creator by heart and will always grow fairly. • Sub4Sub is also a prominent point in this "Incentivization Spam" policy. To be honest, I didn't even know that Sub4Sub is a real thing because who even does that. • I did some digging for Sub4Sub and found out that there are channels actually doing it and literally the title of their video is "If u sub to me I'll sub back 🔥 🔥" (Screenshot attatched) but those channels are still up and uploading. So does the AI just doesn't terminate the ones who should be? The question I really want to ask from the "Human Reviewer" is that in which video did I: • Directed people off the platform? • Sold engagement metrics? • Did Sub4Sub? Writing and explaining this has really took a long time. If you believe honest creators deserve a second chance, please LIKE ❤️, REPOST 🔄, and TAG @TeamYouTube to help get this seen! #YouTube #CreatorHelp #FixYouTubeAI

Please retweet so I can get my YouTube channel back.(Made my channel on my bday april 6 2006) Hey @TeamYouTube, come on, I really need a real review. My channel was terminated on December 4, and I had it for over 19 years. I’ve been making original comedy content for years and always had a good-standing account. I keep seeing people get reinstated or even get passes, so I’m asking for the same fair check. That day I posted 9 Shorts, and they were not the same videos. You can verify that. I may reuse hashtags like #deadlyx or #funny, but that’s common on YouTube Shorts. I don’t sell anything, I don’t do sub4sub, and I don’t cheat the system. When I appealed, it got instantly denied, and I honestly believe it was AI and not a real person reviewing it. Let’s be real, why would someone with a 19-year channel and a clean history suddenly try to break the rules? Please DM me and take another look at my account. That’s way too many years on YouTube to lose like this.

Happy New Year. For the first time in 18 years, New Year's Eve felt empty and depressing. Thank you @YouTube for falsely terminating my channel over 50 days ago. Thank you @TeamYouTube for not replying even once to my messages begging for help. Thank you @reneritchie and @nealmohan for letting AI moderation systems ruin our lives. Thank you @YouTubeCreators for not caring about your creators and treating them as enemies. Thank you @UpdatesFromYT for turning a blind eye to the current wave of false terminations. I've provided details, videos, and reasoning, yet I've been ignored throughout this nightmare. YouTube can be amazing, but right now it's failing the people who make it what it is. Full story pinned on my X Profile.
