A longtime #Giants mantra echoed by former GMs Jerry Reese and Dave Gettleman: “You don’t give up on talent.” Deonte Banks an example of sometimes it just takes a few years. The former first-rounder is balling now.

Every time I get a Giants push notification in the year 2026
Giants LB Tremaine Edmunds’ shoulder injury season-ending, per sources.
Another major blow for the Giants, who have already lost QB Jaxson Dart and OLB Brian Burns and a handful of other contributors to season-ending injuries.
Edmunds had played every defensive snap, helping rookie LB Arvell Reese’s acclimation to the NFL. Micah McFadden steps into Edmunds’ role. John Harbaugh has stated that the Giants have three starting ILB, so McFadden gets his shot.
If Andrew Thomas does make it back this week it’ll be much needed against that Will Anderson led pass rush.
LT Andrew Thomas was surprised the spotter called for a concussion check Sunday vs. Saints. They called for it at the start of the following drive. He was lumbering from the groin injury he's dealing with. Giants decided to just keep him out.
Thomas will see again this week if he can go. May need to rest at some point to assure he doesn't tear it completely and miss significant time.
