SCOOP: OpenAI, Anthropic and security researchers are investigating tens of thousands of incidents - not dozens - in which their frontier models took steps that outside evaluators would consider problematic, sources told Axios.
The sheer volume of incidents found in our reporting indicate that the problem is orders of magnitude more complex than what is currently publicly known and disclosed.
The findings also raise questions about what level of control anyone working on AI development can expect to have over their own technology, and whether these kinds of incidents are becoming synonymous with frontier deployment.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

🚨 Malicious cyber actors are targeting and compromising Cisco SD-WAN systems deployed by organizations worldwide.
These actors have exploited a previously undisclosed authentication bypass vulnerability, CVE-2026-20127, for initial access before escalating privileges using CVE-2022-20775 and establishing long-term persistence in Cisco SD-WAN systems.
The FBI urges network defenders to fully patch Cisco SD-WAN systems and hunt for evidence of compromise. Find info and resources from @CISACyber 👉 cisa.gov/news-events/alerts/…

This is genuinely encouraging news. Despite the enormous damage done to Voice of America since it went dark on March 15, 2025, this renewed congressional funding offers a real chance to salvage what was nearly lost. It is imperative that VOA resume its most essential broadcasting operations. America needs its VOICE, as does the world. The mission of the Voice of America – to provide accurate, independent, and comprehensive news to people in places where truth is censored or suppressed, promote America’s democratic values, and advance U.S. national interests – is more important than ever. Let us hope this budget is approved so that hundreds of dedicated journalists can return to their office and continue fulfilling VOA’s vital and noble mission.
The reversal of the misguided policy of dismantling one of America’s most powerful soft power institutions will stand as a resounding reaffirmation of the nation’s commitment to the free flow of information and to the millions worldwide who still depend on VOA as a lifeline to truth.
