We were asked to help a Staffy who has never been outside the house she was born in. This girl is two and a half years old. She is head shy and timid, unsure of the world, but she hasn’t got a bad bone in her. Like all the bullies she just wants to bond with people and belong.On her days off Amy was busy ringing around trying to secure a foster home so that we could say yes. There is so much unseen dedication from our team. Thankfully a wonderful couple said yes to offering her a home trial, and now Tigger has the chance to learn a different way of life . We will supporting her new family throughout the 1 month trial We don’t need more puppies bringing into this world, we need to get dogs like Tigger into a loving home ✅ Dogs who are already here, who desperately need your love. Now this gorgeous boy is looking for a new family and a fresh start. Thunder is a lovely, friendly boy who enjoys being around people and is always happy to make new friends. He already knows all of his basic commands and is very treat-driven — so if you happen to have snacks, you’re already off to a very promising start! 😂🦴 🐶 Thunder would ideally like at least one other suitable dog in his new home. He would love the companionship and, hopefully, a four-legged friend to play with and share his adventures. Thunder is a playful, enthusiastic boy who can be a little jumpy when he gets excited — apparently keeping all four paws on the floor is sometimes highly overrated! 🤣 Because of this, we feel he would be best suited to older, dog-savvy children who are confident around larger, energetic dogs. Please retweet to help Pud find a loving home after neglect and abuse #WAKEFIELD #YORKSHIRE #UK This very special girl has been through more than any dog ever should, and now she deserves a life filled with love, kindness, comfort and safety. Could you be the person to give her the happy ending she deserves? Pud is a female Lurcher/Whippet-type dog, medium-sized with a strong, athletic build. Her exact age is unknown, but she is physically fit and healthy. She was rescued in a terrible condition and has received the veterinary care she desperately needed. Although she has permanent wounds to her face and scarring across her body, she is now safe, healing and ready to begin the next chapter of her life. She does have some hair loss, which we believe is likely related to her poor condition. Thankfully, she is gradually improving and looking better week by week. It is wonderful to see her slowly recover. Her personality is what makes her so special Despite everything she has endured, she is genuinely one of the softest, sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She absolutely adores people, loves cuddles and is happiest when she can curl up on the sofa for a cosy snooze beside someone she trusts. She has been carefully tested around food and toys and has shown no aggression whatsoever. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who simply wants to feel safe and loved. She could live in a family home with children, although we feel a home without babies, toddlers or very young children would be safest. Because of her existing injuries, little ones could accidentally hurt her without meaning to. What about other animals? Because of her difficult past, we believe it is safest to walk her on a lead and have her wear a muzzle around other animals. With her muzzle fitted and her lead on, she is not reactive and happily walks around other dogs. Her future home must be understanding of this precaution and committed to keeping her and other animals safe. The home she deserves We are looking for a truly special home that will see past her scars and someone who is capable of handling her. You must have a high enclosed garden and be prepared to walk her safely around other animals - she would love to do things like go to an enclosed dog park and zoom around.
