America exports oil. Farmers still feel price shocks from across the globe.
republicEn's @bobinglis asks why we keep funding Putin and MBS when America has other ways to make electricity.
From his Congress to Campus visit to Ithaca College.
In this older clip, Art Laffer calls himself agnostic on global warming.
Now, the economist and former Reagan adviser says, “I know global warming is a serious problem.”
His policy answer remains: Tax pollution. Cut income taxes.

America has never been afraid of competition. But first we have to recognize we're in one.

I appreciated David Frum's closing thoughts. They reminded me that history still has a lot to teach us.

David Frum closes this week's podcast by using Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey as a jumping-off point for an intriguing discussion of Eric Cline's 1177 B.C.: The Year Civilization Collapsed.
He explores how environmental change, innovation, and adaptation have shaped civilizations throughout history, and what those lessons might mean today.
Watch the closing segment and tell us what you think.👇

A great conversation about conservative climate leadership, free markets, and finding common ground.

I served with Lindsey Graham in Congress. I'll remember the many funny stories Lindsey told. It's such a shock that his life of energy and exuberance has come to an end. I'm grateful for his interest in climate action, most recently as co-author of the Foreign Pollution Fee Act.
America has always responded best to competition.

Competition is a wonderful thing. More than a century after the Model T, Ford is rethinking how vehicles are designed and built for the electric era.

Sputnik woke America up in the 1960s. Maybe BYD should do the same today.
We may be behind, but America has never done its best work while sitting comfortably ahead. The U.S. can still catch up. I wrote this on why:

What’s happening with Chinese EV innovation ought to get America’s attention. Fast iteration. Lower costs. Serious scale.
This is bigger than transportation. It’s about whether America intends to compete.

I did this thing a few years ago for my friend Tia Nelson — a short film on the origins of Earth Day.
In 1970, folks on the left and right agreed there was a problem and got to work.
Seems to me we can do that again.
I’ve found folks don’t respond well to being told they’re the problem. bit.ly/4sMSXes
They respond a whole lot better when you show them a way forward.
In this piece, I write about the missing ingredient in the climate conversation, a path to redemption.

March has kept me moving — enough that my wife might be wondering if I still live at home.
But I wouldn’t trade these conversations. So many thoughtful people stepping up.
Here are a few photos from our creation care event in Indianapolis. Grateful for the opportunities.
From the beginning, we were called “to tend and keep.”

On Mar 12 in Indianapolis, we’ll gather at Rejoicing Vine Winery to talk about what that means for us today—faithfully & practically.
Dinner included. Free event.
