One of the strangest memories I have from my time on X is of a woman who once asked me, quite directly, if I wanted to be friends with benefits. I didn't overthink it. I said yes, and we eventually arranged to meet. Seeing her in person was a surprise; she was even more beautiful than I'd imagined. But meeting someone online and sitting across from them in real life are two very different things. We spent some time talking in a café then went our separate ways. I was raped twice in once night at a hotel party when I was 17. The first was a security guard who came into the hotel room, told us we were good if we kept the noise down. He had some drinks and smoked a little. He asked me how old I was. I told him and he said since I wasn’t old enough to drink, I needed to leave & he would call my parents to pick me up.
