Could Britain learn from Azerbaijan’s decision to ban face coverings?
Azerbaijan has introduced school uniform rules that ban clothing considered incompatible with secular education, effectively barring the hijab, burka and niqab in state schools.
The move has sparked rare protests in the country and criticism from Iran.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education told Iranian officials to deal with their own problems instead of interfering in its internal affairs.
Did they do the right thing and should we do the same in the UK?
