For all the new iPhone Duo users: the phone will heat up during the Siri Indexing process which can take days and at times might feel slightly sluggish. However once indexing is done, it performs much better and the heat is greatly reduced.
Wise words regardless of your profession.
Tom Brady says his career turned around when a sports psychologist told him to stop complaining about what he wasn’t getting and start stewarding what he had the right way
“Greg said to me, ‘Why don’t you quit bitching about all the things you’re not getting, and how about you do the best with whatever opportunities you get?’, ‘Stop worrying about what the other quarterback’s getting. Stop worrying about what the coach is saying to you.’”
“‘Every time you get in there, you bring the juice. You bring the energy. You bring the enthusiasm. You treat practice like a game.’ Because if you just decide to go out there and you’re blaming everybody else, where does that get you? So I started to change my attitude.”
“I didn’t have a lot of confidence in myself. And when you don’t have a lot of confidence in yourself, you blame other people. When you gain confidence in yourself, you start pointing the finger at yourself.”
“I would encourage every athlete to look in the mirror after every day of practice or a game and say, ‘What can I do better to help the team? What can I do better?’”
“Not, ‘What does the coach need to do better?’ Not, ‘What do my teammates need to do better?’, ‘What do I need to do better?’ If every player does that, you’re going to have an incredible team.”
“You can’t have a false confidence. You don’t only gain your confidence because of your physical ability. You gain your confidence because you’re prepared, because you’re competitive. I couldn’t just show up and be better than everybody.”
“I had to show up prepared. I had to show up with energy. I had to show up with my body feeling right. I had to show up like I was on a mission.”

Everyone’s favorite pint-sized powerhouse is now better than ever, with 4x faster AI performance, 2x faster graphics, up to 2x faster storage, and enhanced connectivity, all in its iconic ultra-compact footprint!
At some point we just need to stop with rumours. Just a few months ago the same stories were being published.
A source has exclusive revealed to us that Apple has just laid off an unknown number of people dedicated to VR, which aligns with incoming CEO John Ternus reportedly putting the category "on ice."

Fascinating interview. What Nolan says about apologising for Greatness is really what’s troubling on how this current generation sees success. Instead of celebrating exceptionalism, we have to downplay it to be accepted.
Matt Damon deserves the Oscar for his performance in The Odyssey. The layers he created with the character and how effortlessly they came across are a testament to his craft.
I think the real reason Supergirl didn’t perform at the box office isn’t the script, or directing but the approach to the character. I know of many that were turned off just by her drunken appearance in Superman and calling him a bitch. This is a character like Supes that parents and general audiences want to look up to, but what we saw was the opposite of that with this iteration of the character.
Few stand out features I’m noticing on #iOS27. Auto-correct and phrasing corrections are shown while you’re writing a post in the respective app, versus above the keyboard.
Photos app now has three options versus two on iOS 26 plus easier access to camera controls. This looks to be a prelude to a pro camera app maybe with the iPhone 18.
Shortcuts are easier with Siri, but doesn’t play well with third-party apps yet.
First impressions of the new Siri AI:it’s definitely more intuitive and much better than the Siri of past years in terms of asking it to do things, some research questions etc.
What it’s lacking is more conversational engagement. After one or two questions it just stops 😂 Also it’s limited in how it can work with other third party apps at this time.
Overall big improvement and looking forward to future updates.
New Extend and Spatial Reframing for iOS27. I sped up the video for time, but overall it works well with some limitations. If you don’t like the render you can’t clean it up after the fact. Also there is a slight color shift to the image once it’s saved, but this is a developer beta so look for improvements over the next few months.

A good watch. Great things happening in Singapore having seen it first hand.

Had a great chat with Apple CFO Kevan Parekh about Apple Vision Pro and its future, especially in education and business.
Are these rumours about the end of AVP premature? Perhaps…
Is Apple Vision Pro Dead? I Asked Apple’s CFO
