Proof-of-Build is live for Orbital 💜
3M $ORBT locked. Verified agent work releases it. The meter is public and it does not move unless we ship.

S/o to the team. Thanks for the trust!

Most tokens promise a roadmap. This one meters the work 🟣
Proof-of-Build is live for Orbital. 3M $ORBT sits locked, and verified agent build sessions are what release it. Not burned, not vested on a calendar. Earned.
Receipts instead of promises.
Big respect to the @buttonfun team for building this and for backing it with 2M of their own 🤝
A new Proof-of-Build project is live ✅
Project: @Orbitalxyz
Token: $ORBT
Allocation: 1M $ORBT
Mode: Vesting
About: Building automated bot infra for crypto🤖
Our team has allocated an additional 2M $ORBT tokens to the proof-of-build address as support.
More to come 🔥

Discovering quality projects in the building phase is a key ingredient to proof-of-build.
It takes a lot of work in the beginning to light the fire and then becomes easier to sustain overtime.
We've seen the @Hedgetradex team utilizing it to their advantage & will likely see many more doing the same.
With that being said, we're bringing on interns this week to scout projects & get them connected, while we continue integrating new features and improving the platform.
Great things take time & the button stays pressed.
Onboarding projects takes time but each one rolls into another.
Cooking at @buttondotfun no matter the PA
A few late night updates while we work on onboarding more projects.
· Proof-of-Build widgets are live. Any project or screener (dexscreener, coingecko, etc..) can embed a tokens proof-of-build directly on their site or token details page.
· We now show the total amount of $BUTTON burned through the entire proof-of-build network on button.fun (Our own + other projects building)
· Projects can now easily buy more $BUTTON credits & top up their burn wallets from their console dashboard
We have more features for both projects & holders in progress.
60M $BUTTON has been burned via proof-of-build in just the past 3 weeks.
$BUTTON burns not only when we ship, but also when any project connected to proof-of-build ships.
The more teams that connect, the more our token burns.
This is just the beginning of the flywheel. We're working on future buyback activations, rewards, & more.
Stay tuned 🤝
Verifiable On-Chain: robinhoodchain.blockscout.co…
Currently have another 93.5M $BUTTON waiting to be burned.
One big project connected to proof-of-build will set it as a standard for teams building.
With burning, vesting, & buybacks (otw) all as options, there are no excuses.
Building in public is bullish when you’re actually building 🤝
If the project won't utilize proof-of-build, there may be reason to ask why.
Proof of build by @antoshi & @buttondotfun solves this
Working on getting our first couple of proof-of-build project consoles live today ✅
With these being the first outside of our own, we will be running some tests with the teams to ensure all is running properly.
Then onto the next 100 🤝
Had a productive day while markets took a hit.
We’ll be rolling out some new features this week and we are continuing to connect with projects.
Any project can connect by themselves within seconds right now, but the first 10-20 we will be personally onboarding and doing outreach to provide additional support.
@buttondotfun
Proof-of-Build is an entirely new primitive on Robinhood chain alongside tokenized stocks & memestock pairs.
It's tech with real purpose & the snowball effect will be real.
We've already burned 54M $BUTTON through building. Thats $54k worth of supply gone forever, and we have another 96M tokens to go. All burned from building in public.
Robinhood chain has only been live for a little over a month now & same with ourselves.
We're very early & and have a lot of exciting things coming down the pipeline.
Let's get it 🌐
IPOs are coming on-chain & @buttondotfun is designed for this.
You'll have larger companies like Oura and then you'll have a million startups and smaller companies coming to raise + build onchain.
This is exactly why we chose to build @buttondotfun on Robinhood. It's the bridge to retail that many of us have been waiting for and there needs to be infrastructure to support it.
We're so early 🔥

Couldn't have explained where we're headed & the vision for proof-of-build any better.
In hindsight it will be obvious how scalable and needed a primitive like this is.
Thanks for the write-up @aglioglioliolio
That’s actually a beautiful idea. Performance and throughput tracking via software metrics is standard practice in tech companies and corporate environments in general. It’s surprising it took this long to see the primitive brought on-chain.
I believe @redemptionarcc compared @buttondotfun to MetaDAO for RH, which is a valid comparison to an extent. I wouldn't go quite that far (for now...): while MetaDAO’s extensive due diligence and selective curation set a very high bar, Button adopting a similar framework could position it as the premier launchpad for legit tech and high-conviction projects. And honestly, I’d love to see it. God knows this chain needs fewer larps and rugs. Way too many of them clogging up the ecosystem.
The way their Proof-of-Build system works is pretty straightforward: you hook up any token to their setup, allocate supply, then connect your Claude/Codex API. A committed Claude Code hook (two small files in the project's repo) reports the AI token counts from every build session. An oracle proposes a burn of the token each period at a rate of the team's choosing, signed by an AWS KMS key that can only ever send to the dead address. Verified usage is bucketed into hourly periods and combined with shipped output (PRs, releases, deploys) from the team's public GitHub. A burn is then proposed on-chain and serving a 24h challenge window, during which the guardian can dispute it, after which it is executed.
Your community can watch you ship in real time. Plus, you can embed a proof-of-build widget on your own site or share the console.
Great mechanism for keeping teams accountable and making sure they actually deliver on their roadmap. Naturally, no system is immune to manipulation, and some teams will inevitably attempt to game the metrics with vanity commits or cosmetic prompts. However, the foundational concept of Proof-of-Build is great. As edge cases emerge, the model will undoubtedly be refined, hardened, and iterated upon to minimize exploitability. Instead of evaluating a dev's throughput based on raw lines of code, Button can simply adapt the anti-gaming heuristics and peer-review safeguards that Web2 engineering leads have spent years refining, such as weighing token burns against AST (Abstract Syntax Tree) diff changes, test coverage metrics, code churn/rework metrics (to track how much code is rewritten or deleted shortly after being committed). Or, instead of reinventing the wheel, they could simply use productivity tools like LinearB, Jellyfish, and SonarQube that offer a lot of features.
They’ve already lined up partners like @Hedgetradex on RH and @vcdotfun on Solana in the last 48 hours alone. If they keep shipping, locking in strong partnerships, and pulling in real teams, this could do really well.
Good luck! I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Replying to @buttondotfun
@buttondotfun x @vcdotfun
Proof-of-Build has arrived on Solana through VC.FUN.
The dev connects the token to Claude/Cursor, and the supply gets burned with every piece of code written. Everything is on-chain and clear from the dashboard.
No disappearing after launch. The building itself is the proof.
$BUTTON + $VC = $POB
The layer launches needed
