🇨🇦 DEAR AMERICA, YOU’RE MISSING OUT.
EXHIBIT 1: THE COFFEE CRISP.
Behold a masterpiece of Canadian confectionery.
Delicate, golden wafers layered with sumptuous coffee-flavoured cream, lovingly enveloped in a luxurious coating of silky milk chocolate.
An exquisite symphony of crunch, sweetness, and refined coffee notes.
Canada has enjoyed this culinary treasure for generations.
America put a man on the Moon—with help from Canadian engineers.
Built the world’s largest economy—with Canada as a trusted trading partner.
And yet, despite all that cooperation, somehow failed to embrace one of humanity’s crowning culinary achievements.
The Coffee Crisp.
We can only do so much, America. 🇨🇦
As someone who's had cancer 3 times in Canada if your issue is urgent, it's treated as urgent. If I lived in the US I would have exhausted my insurance and be dead now.
Replying to @omgsidewalks
People in Canada would call that a miracle. For some procedures the wait is 26 months. Now if you elect assisted suicide the wait is much shorter.

Reports are that 7 have passed away, and dozens are injured in the fire at CFB Wainwright.
This is a horrific tragedy.
I have seen some pretty shitty tweets from both sides of the political spectrum trying to use this as political fodder.
Don't do that.
This isn't the time.
Thoughts with all those impacted by this tragedy.
Canada, let's show some class, compassion, and decorum here.

I am sick and tired of the American Red River flooding across our border doing tremendous damage to southern Manitoba. When are the Americans going to take care of this problem and stop it from flooding farmland in Canada? And don't even get me started on damaging Colorado Lows.

Just a reminder that shortly after being appointed president in 2017 that Infantino was instrumental in a major FIFA overhaul that ousted the two independent co-chairmen of the Ethics Committee, Cornel Borbély and Hans-Joachim Eckert. At the time, the committee was actively investigating… Infantino
FIFA President Gianni Infantino:
“I have seen the public comments regarding the decision of the independent FIFA Disciplinary Committee related to the suspension of Folarin Balogun, and I would like to reiterate a fundamental principle of FIFA’s governance.
“FIFA’s judicial bodies are independent. They operate autonomously, apply the FIFA Disciplinary Code, and decide cases based on the applicable regulations and the specific facts before them. Their independence is essential to the credibility and integrity of football, and this must always be respected.
“Yes, I regularly discuss matters related to the FIFA World Cup with the President of the United States, and on this matter, I did receive a call from President Donald Trump, just as I receive calls from heads of state, government officials, football stakeholders and business executives from around the world on many different issues. During our conversation, I explained that there was an ongoing legal process involving FIFA’s independent judicial bodies and that the case would be decided in due course by the competent bodies. That is how FIFA’s system works, and it is a principle that I will always uphold.
“I read the decisions of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee when they are issued. Sometimes I am surprised by them. Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree.
“What I always do, however, is respect those decisions and the autonomy of the bodies that make them. Whether we personally like a decision or not is irrelevant. Respect for independent institutions and the rule of law is what protects the integrity of our competitions and the credibility of FIFA at all times.”

Not enough Canadians are talking about this.
The Canadian women are on an incredible run. They’ve outscored opponents 227-50 in the tournament. They just defeated the defending world champions. And they’ll play in the final next Saturday.

Trump is actually going after dissenting voices in the US. Threatening to cancel licenses of critical media organizations.
Hey Canada, have you ever heard anyone else say that?

Watching back the NOLA game and man, the Saints might have something here with Rattler.
Fred Warner had an unreal day that made all the difference for a 49ers win (forced fumble took field goal attempt away, that PBU on 3rd and 1 late, etc) but Rattler played a darn good game.

Fuck your feelings. But my feelings are precious.
Violence is never ok. But people I don't like should die.
Free speech is when I can say what I want without consequences. But your words have consequences.
You should respect the dead. But I can mock them.
Cancel culture is wrong. Except when it's used on people I disagree with with.
When you do it, it's wrong. When I do it, it's right.

When Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband were assassinated, Senator Mike Lee mocked their murders online, writing, “This is what happens when Marxists don’t get their way.”
Charlie Kirk was an American patriot, an inspiration to countless young people to stand up and defend the timeless truths that make our country great.
This murder was a cowardly act of violence, an attack on champions of freedom like Charlie, the students who gathered for civil debate, and all Americans who peacefully strive to save our nation.
The terrorists will not win.
Charlie will.
Please join me in praying for his wife Erika and their children. May justice be swift.

And again: doing so before there is a killer, or a motive. And not one prominent Democrat reacted this way to the killing of Melissa Hortman and her husband. This is rabid derangement in action.
