I hate the “WFH is depressing” talk. What’s actually depressing is 2 unpaid hours of commuting every day, getting home already exhausted, and having 4 hours left for cooking, sleeping, and getting ready to do it all again.
Currently, we’re living through a timeline where you can work a full 40-hour week, eat at home, have zero hobbies, and still somehow end up with a negative balance on payday.
Getting paid just to pay bills is such a depressing cycle. your paycheck hits your account, rent takes its cut, bills take their cut, groceries take their cut, and suddenly you’re broke again. what the fuck are we even doing?
The economy is whooping everybody's asş. Please DO NOT feel embarrassed about your financial situation right now. A lot of people are struggling, and we're all just doing the best we can to get through it.
I genuinely think workdays should be 10am–3pm or 9am– 2pm. There’s no reason for people to spend most of their lives at work. Let people go home and have time for their families, partners, friends, and rest. That’s why everyone is so miserable today
