Some of you act like being "privileged" automatically makes you a tyrant, the real issue is being privileged AND refusing to admit it. You can hold structural advantages in one area of your life while facing disvantages in another. And its okay to admit that

Just because someone’s your friend doesn’t mean you have to defend actions you know are wrong. There's a point where loyalty becomes enabling.

skip cowok insecure. cowok insecure kl ketemj cewek mantep pasti punya ambisi buat “mengondisikan” si cewe supaya lebih inferior. kalo ga gitu mrk akan mikir untuk cari yg lebih bisa diatur2 kyk begini
After suamiku bilang "aku pernah kepikiran buat selingkuh, soalnya kamu pinter, orang pinter gak bisa diatur, punya pikiran sendiri." Aku jawab santai sambil makan waktu itu "selama hampir 7 tahun nikah sama kamu, yang aku pikirin kalo pas kamu bikin aku kesel, terus kalo aku marah malah kamu silent treatment cuma pengen cerai aja sih. kayaknya enak sendiri aja sama anak-anak." Reaksi suamiku "Sayang, aku minta maaf ya." sambil meluk. Apaansih 🙂 kataku selanjutnya

you struggle with independence because you were raised by overprotective yet emotionally neglectful parents, and now you are just an emotionally crippled adult with no real life skills

imo, sah-sah aja dengan syarat berlapis. 0. Ally 1. Gak heteronormatif 2. Research! Learn about queer community and queer media 3. It would be very great kalau author jg belajar soal SOGIESC 4. Ally Kalau masih punya pikiran "kalau liat di RL asli jijik" then stop consuming.
gw gatau pasti ya background seseorang itu apa tp if ur not the part of queer ppl tolong jangan bikin au bxb gxg. u can support ur duo/unit in your way kok, we're safe place its not your playground

Kadang gue mikir society tuh kok obsesif banget ya sama romantic love.

Kok I find the assumption that we will fall in love with opposite gender just because they're our 'type' itu very disturbing ya.. kesannya kayak what stopped this kind of relationship is simply because they're not our type, and not or own boundaries.
Bisa. Kuncinya bukan tipenya masing2.

What people should understand is that it's impossible for a good person to not do anything bad. Who important is that you acknowledge it. So if you think you are a good person that's completely fine. Just make sure you judge yourself the same way as you do others.

They judge themselves by their intent. If I am late that's because I was stuck in traffic but if someone is late that's because they don't have time sense. They are so busy defending the kind of person that they think they are that they don't even question their own actions(2/n)

The worst person that you know probably thinks they are a good person and I'll tell you why. There is something called moral superiority that most people carry with them. The biggest problem with these people is that they judge everyone else around them by their actions. (1/n)

If you are wondering as to why a lot of queer people don't want to fight alongside homophobics, etc., the answer seems very simple to me: They think that even when they win, they will end up getting persecuted in the end. What is the point of replacing one's government when they're going to end up arrested & discriminated in the end? You may argue that the price will be lower in the end, and all sorts of other benefits, but that is pointless for people whose existence isn't even recognized Let me give you a simple analogy: Imagine you are a Chinese person, and you are told to ally with a person who says "Chinese people should be arrested and killed!!". You decide to ally with that person... And then you win. That person then proceeds to stab you anyway. What is the point of such victory from your perspective? It's a no-victory, and you're justified in worrying about it, unless if you're actually planning to stab first, which is difficult since you're not the majority

The moment people begin examining the structures behind their suffering, the conversation changes from personal failure to collective responsibility.
