Gotta love that people to car ratio in Atlanta.
Years ago, people said the only walkable area was Midtown. Then “yes and Beltline by PCM”.
Now “only on the Eastside”…
Yeah… it’s growing. And connectivity of the Beltline has people going around the city more simply than ever.

I’ve really learned this from watching European football, but America’s obsession with constantly building new arenas is insane compared to the rest of the world.
A decade-old arena in Vegas isn’t good enough for the NBA, while Fulham has played in the same ground since 1896.
ESPN Sources: The NBA is expected to select the winning bid for owner of the Las Vegas expansion team in the very near future, with a price of at least $12-13 billion for the franchise and new arena among three finalist groups – Nancy Walton Laurie and Bill Laurie; Steve Apostolopoulos and Marc Lasry; Bill Foley and Jerry Colangelo.
🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Real Madrid are VERY CLOSELY monitoring Gilberto Mora (17)...
Barcelona are also VERY MUCH INTERESTED. 🇲🇽
But they are NOT alone.

Xavi Simons never had a Plan B. It was football or nothing. He spent 20 of his 23 years chasing the dream of becoming great.
Then, late last season, he tore his ACL.
The injury hurt. Missing the 2026 World Cup hurt even more.
But the nights were the hardest. Just @xavisimons, his thoughts, and the weight of a dream suddenly put on hold. There were nights he cried himself to sleep—even the dream that had driven him his entire life couldn’t comfort him.

people try to label me a centrist but truth is that modern online leftism has converged on an incoherent muddle of pseudo anarchism—I believe in effective, efficient government that delivers for the people, and I’m happy to see Zohran reclaiming true progressive values
🚨 At the U20 Mayors Summit, Mamdani Says the Left Has Ceded “Quality of Life,” “Efficiency,” and “Fraud and Waste” to the Right
This was one of the more interesting arguments Zohran Mamdani made today at the U20 Mayors Summit, and a reminder that he can be genuinely sharp when he drops the “central casting” routine.
“In New York City, there are certain words that have taken on ideological associations.”
“Quality of life has come to be seen as somehow a right-wing concern. Efficiency… has been taken on as a right-wing concern, rooting out fraud and waste, a right-wing concern.”
Mamdani’s argument is that refusing to engage those issues actually helps the Right.
“If you are staring at an example of social disorder or social inefficiency, and the left refuses to explain either why it has happened or how they will fix it, then the right gets to point at someone in the immediate area and say, ‘That’s who did it.’”
The harder question is how much of the broader Left is actually prepared to follow the advice.
