'@IvanaStradner told @RFERL: "Serbia is experiencing the same energy we saw when [late Serbian President Slobodan] Milosevic. as overthrown."
"But history must not repeat itself: Removing Vucic is only the beginning. Serbia now must dismantle the system of corruption, and authoritarian control that sustained his rule and not simply replace the people at the top."
"This is Serbia’s chance to build lasting democratic institutions and put the country firmly on a path toward the West," she added.
Stradner said that Vucic "cultivated close ties with Moscow and Beijing, positioning Serbia as one of their closest partners in Europe. Now Russia and China stand to lose a key ally and a major foothold in Europe.”

WTF, Steve? Look up the definition of “humanitarian.” What an embarrassing and outrageous thing to say. You should go back to Ukraine and ask the families of the children Putin has kidnapped and murdered whether they agree your friend Putin is a “humanitarian.”

In what world is Putin a "humanitarian?” He's assassinated political rivals and journalists, bombed hospitals, and started a war that has intentionally killed tens of thousands of innocent people, including women and children. He's a war criminal.

Perhaps the @SecRubio-@ZelenskyyUa call, combined with pressure from all sides of the political spectrum in the US, has yielded something.
New - Zelensky says that U.S. intel sharing with Ukraine has been restored: “I’m speaking about early warning. What is very important for our people, for children, adults, civilians, because we can hear when (a) ballistic (missile) is coming. So we are thankful to American side. Now it works. It’s great,”

Russia is using a network of holiday homes in the Baltic to wage hybrid war on the West.
Great investigation from @JamesERothwell and @LilyShanagher
Western officials are taking action against hundreds of Russian-linked homes in Lithuania, Sweden and Norway, which have been bought close to strategic military sites or key infrastructure.
The most serious cases involve oligarch-linked properties at the entrances to naval bases, and holiday homes in close proximity to Nato facilities.

Russians are murderers. In broad daylight, in the central park of Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region, they struck with a drone. There were families with children there.
Six people lost their lives, including two children. A one-year-old was killed in a stroller. Another victim was an 11-year-old girl.
14 people were injured, six of them children. Rescuers are giving first aid to the victims and checking the area for explosives.
This was an attack on children with no conceivable military purpose. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones. There are no words for this pain.

Why do I see stories like this every single day? Chinese data collection is CCP data.
Temu just agreed to keep Texans’ data off Chinese servers after Texas sued it for collecting information on more than 82 million Americans.
The lawsuit accused the app of secretly harvesting user data, exposing it to the Chinese government, and selling goods linked in reports to toxic chemicals in clothing, toys, and baby products.
Under the settlement, Temu must store Texans’ data on U.S.-owned servers, block China-based access except for shipping, and face yearly independent audits for spyware. Fail one and it pays another $8 million. It must also pull unsafe items in two days and permanently ban sellers with confirmed toxic products. Temu admitted nothing. It still accepted the rules.
Chinese tech does not stay in China. The data follows the company.
Temu just settled with Texas after being sued for harvesting data from 82+ million Americans and exposing it to the Chinese government.
Texas filed suit in February accusing Temu of secretly collecting user data, misleading shoppers on discounts and product quality, and selling items that reports linked to toxic chemicals like PFAS in clothing, toys, and baby products.
The October 16 settlement forces Temu to store Texans’ personal data on U.S.-owned servers, block China-based access except for limited shipping needs, and face independent annual audits for spyware and hidden data collection. Fail an audit and they pay another $8 million.
On products, Temu must now remove recalled or unsafe items within two business days, test commonly purchased goods every year for lead, PFAS, and other harmful chemicals, and permanently cut off any seller caught with confirmed toxic products within five days.
Temu admitted nothing. It still agreed to strict new rules and paid Texas $3 million. Texas is the first state to lock this in. Others are watching.

🇷🇺🇵🇱🇱🇹 NEW SATELLITE IMAGERY: Russia is expanding a massive long-range radar and electronic-warfare network in Kaliningrad, on NATO’s eastern flank.
ICEYE satellite imagery published by Germany’s FAZ reveals three antenna arrays, each over 500 metres long, under construction near Gvardeysk.
The installation appears to form part of Russia’s 29B6 Container over-the-horizon radar system, designed to detect aircraft and missiles at distances of several thousand kilometres.
Lithuanian intelligence had already identified the multi-site radar project in its March 2026 threat assessment.
ICEYE also identifies more than 20 signals-intelligence and electronic-warfare sites across Kaliningrad.
The radar’s operational status remains unconfirmed.
The findings provide new visual evidence of Russia’s long-term military surveillance buildup around the Baltic Sea.

Study the riots in Estonia in 2007, organised by the GRU and the Russian embassy in Tallinn.
Our assessment is that the wave of violence and arson accompanying the ongoing protests and riots in France, and its subsequent online amplification by international right-wing propaganda networks, may indicate a coordinated hybrid operation involving Russian intelligence services, in collaboration with actors linked to the United States and Israel. The extent of foreign involvement, including any coordination between the suspected actors, remains unverified. It warrants further investigation.

PS I’ve met Putin many times and listened in on calls with him as well. I also speak Russian. Yes he is soft spoken, deliberate, and measured. So what? He’s still a killer. He still launched a barbaric invasion of Ukraine, that has produced tragic loss of life not seen on this scale in Europe since WWII.

Russian Kosmos 2612 and ICEYE-X36 (providing Ukraine military support) are now in perfect sync with each other. The Russian military satellite is intentionally stalking and tracking the Western radar satellite. Keeping a satellite "bumper-to-bumper" in this manner allows Russia to intercept or jam data transmissions, physically inspect Western technology, or quickly pivot to execute a kinetic or non-kinetic anti-satellite (ASAT) attack with very little warning or fuel expenditure.
Kosmos 2612 executed a series of highly precise, fuel-heavy maneuvers to force itself into a "coplanar" orbit—matching ICEYE-X36's exact altitude (~555 km), speed, and inclination (~97.8°). The ICEYE-X36 satellite is giving the Ukraine military support.

- still a literal ISIS terrorist
As of October 15, 2026, a Russian satellite called Cosmos 2612 is moving into position for close-proximity operations with a U.S.-registered commercial satellite supporting Ukraine. “No one should assume to know what Russia will do next, but the potential for a threat is there,” write @crswope and Chantal Li.
