Got Kolibri-1 to play Breakout completely on its own, no fine-tuning.
The more I am playing with @Aleph__Alpha’s Kolibri the more I am getting excited about its potential.
Less talk. More Breakout. 🕹️
We optimized the inference for action probabilities: around 25 ms inference per decision.
Four moves. No generated text. One shared game.
Open weights. New possibilities.

Dear @Aleph__Alpha team - thank you for making Kolibri-1 open.
We care deeply about sovereign AI, and launching it on German Unity Day makes today feel especially fitting.
As a small gesture of support, we’ve hosted and made Kolibri-1 free for anyone to try for the next few days.
No GPU. No setup. Just try it.

Anyone travelling to North Goa @miagoaairport would know the taxis which cost Rs. 1200-2500 on avg to get anywhere.
While there is a little used AC shuttle bus service that gets you close at 1/10th the cost.
ℹ️🚍Sharing the latest timetable and fare details in public interest
ALT The shuttle bus at the pickup point at new Mapusa bus stand at 8am today.
ALT There were a total of 2 passengers on this bus. This bus is perfect for the Indigo morning flight from GOX-BLR that I’m taking. Reaches a good 2hrs before departure.

It seems CircleCI fired its founder for a personal post criticizing the Israeli government’s US-armed war crimes in Gaza. Huge respect to Paul, and shame on @jimdotrose & the board: “actions have consequences” works both ways folks.

I have worked with #PostgreSQL for more than 5 years now. In my earlier years at Blinkit, we faced a lot of downtimes just because we didn't have a DBA. I have tried to cover all the things which should be helpful for another #AccidentalDBA here: github.com/vishesh92/pg-prim…

Finally, I ran each image through Vectorizer.ai to get more detailed images, and made background music using @beatovenai that generated a beautiful Indian Classical instrumental track with moods specific to the story.

Scrum is arranged marriage and Kanban is polyamory.
Just because Scrum is often oppressive and miserable does not mean Kanban is better or you can fuck any ticket on the board without rules.

Obviously if a team has an engineer or two who are product-minded, this might be in place: blog.pragmaticengineer.com/t…
However, there's a PM toolkit that most engineers are unaware of if not used e.g proactive customer feedback, dashboards for stakeholders, personas, north star etc
