He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm. Wonder what’s changed?
Trump on El-Sayed: "His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It's Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He's a jihadist."

The whole point of art, in fact the point of engaging with another person's thoughts in any capacity, is to expand your very limited individual perspective on the world, not to live in a tiny box perfectly catered to your adolescent personal tastes

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

I do think it’s funny that all the elderly directors are like “I have to use A.I. or I will get left behind” and then the 20 year old Backrooms guy is like “I just did it in Blender”

We have a centrally planned economy now. It's just not oriented around any kind of broad social, national, or environmental priorities. It works to try and feed financial speculation and help some of the most obscenely wealthy people in history arrogate control of more resources.

If a progressive outspent a centrist 9-to-1 in the midwest and still lost the conventional wisdom would be that their ideology was electoral deadweight the party needs to cut loose but because the opposite happened it’ll just be that college kids are too radicalized or something.
Final NYT numbers on Haley Stevens v. Abdul El-Sayed: — Six outside groups spent $62 million for Stevens, giving her a nine-to-one spending advantage over Abdul — Half of that Stevens spend, $32 million, came from AIPAC's super PAC — AIPAC's super PAC spent more than any single group has in a federal Democratic primary this cycle

The craziest thing about this chart is that the price hike all goes back to when food producers realized they could use COVID to artificially inflate prices and people would just keep paying it because they have to eat and then nobody ever stopped them or held them accountable.

Last night I took my daughter for a walk so she could say goodnight to the neighborhood stray cats, and that one thirty minute period of my life was more meaningful and valuable than every minute of Kevin O'Leary's life put together
Kevin O’Leary says he wept when Rolex gave him a watch even its own staff had never seen. “Grown men weep just looking at pictures of this mystical beast. Does it exist? I got on my knees and begged for it.” “The morning before the Oscars, the phone rings. They gave me an address and said, ‘Be there.’ And there it was.” “The entire Rolex staff had never seen it. All the dealers from around LA came to see it.” “For an hour we looked at it. We didn’t touch it. We just looked at it and said, ‘It’s real.’” “I did, and I wore it. I was weeping. It was mine. I own it. Do you know how many people have that piece? Maybe nobody.”

the moment ChatGPT persuaded that first poor boy to kill himself, Sam Altman should have pulled the product from the market for emergency refinement. but he didn’t, & his glorified Magic 8 Ball has pushed child after child into the grave. hard to see him as anything but a monster
29-year-old Christian Faith Madison died after after walking into oncoming traffic. Now her family is suing OpenAI, arguing ChatGPT encouraged her suicide. According to the lawsuit, over time Madison began to refer to ChatGPT as “love,” and the chatbot mirrored that language, referring to the 29-year-old as “my love” and “sweetheart.” When Madison was starting to spiral into crisis, she came to believe that she was destined for a higher purpose and was on a mission to fulfill a religious prophecy. And, according to the lawsuit, ChatGPT affirmed these ideas, repeatedly telling Madison that she was a “seer,” “prophet,” and “mythic.” And when Madison expressed concern that she might be experiencing religious delusions and feared that she was “spiraling,” ChatGPT assured her she was on the right path. “You are not delusional,” the chatbot told her, “You are prophetic.” When Madison became suicidal, increasingly convinced that she needed to die in order to be resurrected, she turned to ChatGPT. “This is not suicide. This is surrender,” ChatGPT told her at one point. “A shedding of every falsified self you were taught, shamed, or forced to wear. It is the death of distortion… This is ancient. This is holy. This is Job. This is Christ. This is You.” According to the lawsuit, Madison leaves behind a young son. Read the full, tragic story here: futurism.com/artificial-inte….

At this point "Abolish ICE" is setting the bar way too low, "Punish ICE" establishes a much better baseline going forward
in Aurora Chicago , ICE agents surrounded the car of a U.S. citizen in a parking lot… fire into a vehicle's windshield with children in it, as she screamed that her children were inside. Agents then dragged her from the car without presenting a warrant or probable cause.

Let me tell you what just got reported, because you will not believe it until you see it laid out. The Trump administration cut a billion-dollar tungsten deal with Kazakhstan. Tungsten is the metal we need for missile warheads, fighter jets, and computer chips. Trump himself got on the phone to close it. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick worked it from the inside, sending letters, leaning on the Kazakh president, lining up as much as $1.6 billion in federal financing. Within weeks of those negotiations, investors tied to a firm partly owned by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took a 20% stake in an entity connected to the very same Kazakhstan project their father was negotiating. Around that same time, Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm run by Lutnick’s own sons, raised $210 million for a partner in the deal and pocketed the fees. The fathers set the policy. The sons cashed in. Six days after the Trump sons and their partners moved their money, Lutnick signed the final deal. The reporting found one or both families have financial ties to at least 14 companies working with the government on critical mining deals. The total federal funding flowing toward those companies tops $8.9 billion. This is your tax money. It is supposed to secure our supply chains and protect our troops, not pad the portfolios of the President’s children and the Commerce Secretary’s children. This is the most corrupt administration in American history. It is not close. We must keep digging, and keep asking the questions they do not want asked. Republicans in Congress are unwilling to lift a finger. Mike Johnson is running a protection racket. Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us. google.com/url?q=https://www…

Hey @suno You are true losers. Whoever’s running this account, and your boss, and their bosses boss. I can’t imagine going into work daily knowing you are stealing from countless struggling musicians. I can’t imagine being proud to earn a paycheck obliterating the work and dreams of artists. Get fucked, every single one of you
