Go vote National !
Dear New Zealand, I would like to wish you all the very best. Now that you rejected wokeness and leftism, you can now move forward with advancing the economy, becoming more prosperous, and easing the cost of living, with a strong, steady government led by Christopher Luxon. You must have looked across the ditch and seen what a radical leftist government can do, the pain, the grief, and thought, "No, bugger that." Once again, well done. Kind regards, Australia

Go NZ Blue ! We need another 3 years to get economy working ! 👍👍
The people of New Zealand have spoken. They rejected Labour. Christopher Luxon retains power. He's level headed and decent. Not a stark raving mad leftie.

Albemarle’s Q3 update is a clear reminder of the underlying lithium fundamentals. Global consumption +48% Y/Y through August vs. supply growth of only +34% Y/Y lines up with the inventory drawdowns we’ve been watching in China. When demand runs ahead of new supply, inventories fall. That’s basic market mechanics. Inventory draws and demand outpacing supply growth are the signals that matter for the longer term. $NILI.V $NILIF
Quote from $ALB Q3 results..."Global lithium consumption up 48% Y/Y through August, outpacing global lithium supply growth up 34% Y/Y" That seems to tally up with the inventory reduction we've seen...which then asks the question - why the fall in prices?

Let’s go, Team USA. We must ensure this crazy lunatic has less power to cause more harm. This isn’t about Republican or Democrat; it’s about stopping this horrible train wreck and what he is doing to our country. Don’t vote for shitty governors just because they are red. Be an independent thinker.

It’s hard to believe the lithium demand prediction will be less next year , the world will need more lithium even LG energy has got big expansion outside China !
This is simply incredible, CATL, the world’s largest battery maker, will reach 1 terrawatt this year! That is nearly as much power as the entire grid in the US. Or double the Indian grid or eight times the grid in the UK. CATL last year shipped 661 gigawatt of batteries. This year its expects to reach 1 terrawatt. CATL produces 39% of the world’s electric car batteries and 30% of batteries for energy storage. Hardly any company contributes more to the green transition than CATL. It was founded 25 years ago by Robin Zeng to create jobs for the people of his small hometown of Ningde in southern China. I visited the impressive headquarters a couple of years ago. But the giant eyes even higher. At a show in Shanghai last week Robin Zeng said that: “We are still not good enough”. We are for example not able to pack a big jet with batteries. Robin Zeng believes the next battery revolution will be powered by artificial intelligence: * AI accelerates material discovery - moving into sodium, solid state batteries and many new and exciting materials. * AI converts scientific knowledge into higher performing battery designs. * AI improves manufacturing - analyzes data and makes decisions in real time.

Throughout this election, you’ll have heard us talking about the economy, interest rates, inflation, debt, surpluses, spending allowances and so on. Let’s talk about why that matters for New Zealand’s future and why it should matter to you. In short, if we manage the economy responsibly, families up and down the country will be better off. When we manage the economy responsibly, we help create the conditions for interest rates to fall. That means lower mortgage rates, so Kiwis pay less when buying a home or refixing their mortgage. We’re already seeing progress here. When National took over three years ago, the Official Cash Rate was 5.5%, now it’s 2.75%. That means a family taking out a $500,000 mortgage is paying about $6,400 less a year in interest. When we manage the economy responsibly, businesses thrive and grow. That means more jobs, higher wages and Kiwis better off. That flows through to better government finances, with more money to invest in infrastructure and public services like health, policing and education. It also means less borrowing, rather than passing the bills off to our children and grandchildren, and no need to raise taxes, so Kiwis keep more of their own money. Our plan is working. Unemployment is forecast to fall. Interest rates and inflation are down. Borrowing is coming down and we are set to return to surplus. Labour would undo all that progress by spending recklessly, just like they did last time they were in government. Between themselves and their coalition partners, there are billions in unfunded policies that New Zealand can’t afford. That means more borrowing, higher interest rates, fewer jobs, less money for our services and higher taxes. Short-term bribes that would leave Kiwis worse off in the long run. Just look to Australia. Their Official Cash Rate has risen to 4.6%, with another increase expected today. That means higher mortgage rates for Australian families. An Australian with a mortgage equivalent to $500,000 could be paying about $6,000 a year more in interest than a Kiwi with the same mortgage. That’s why sticking to the plan is so important. In the long run, Kiwis will be better off. Don’t leave the job half done. Party Vote National.

To reach this level, China's heavy e-truck sales would have to increase 5x from current levels...nice...
"Robin Zeng, chief executive of Chinese battery maker @catl_official, which has launched a battery for trucks, has estimated that half of China’s truck fleet will be electric within three years — a trend gaining momentum from high diesel prices." ⚡️🔋 #alwaysbecharging #battchat
