The problem with niche data journalism is that unlike human-centred storytelling, it can be hard to justify why the report is important to the average reader. So, while you've dug yourself deep into the trenches of number crunching, you start to panic & consider simply giving up.

Locked in with my gym and madrasah over three months ago, and I’ve taken both so personally that I’ve never looked back. As I nourish and strengthen my body, I’m also nourishing my soul and strengthening my faith. Alhamdulillah!

Learning, unlearning and rethinking what the future of media should look like in Africa at Pan-Atlantic University. There’s a lot to rethink, and I’m glad to be part of the conversation.

As United fans, we won't let people with big influences spread hate on your name before you've kicked a ball. Once you wear that iconic red shirt, you are one of us, no matter what you think of the transfer itself. Welcome to Manchester United Carlos Baleba. Make history. ❤️🇨🇲

Get your Facts right. Paul Pogba was not at Manchester United when he was tested positive for Doping
Benjamin Mendy was accused wrongly in 2021 and convicted of his charges yet Manchester City shoved him away and his career went downhill. Few years later in 2023 Paul Pogba tested positive for Doping and when he returned Manchester United shoved him away too and he never recovered from it. Fast forward to 2024 Mykhailo Mudryk was involved in a Doping case after testing positive to a banned substance and has now been cleared two years later but Chelsea Football Club neither shoved him off or turned our back on him. Moral story : you can only find love where love is shared and there’s no other club than Chelsea to give you that. We Chelsea fans are the best in the world and we just showed we can back any player who has adored this shirt with us. I will forever love this club till I D!e COYB 💙👏

🎉Today, I'm launching Docny (@docnyio). Documentation is one of the most important parts of building a technical product, yet it's often the hardest thing to keep up to date. Teams write docs in one place, manage product work in another, support customers somewhere else, and maintain API references separately. I started building Docny to bring those workflows together and help developers keep their docs in sync using AI. With Docny, teams can create beautiful documentation, API references, guides, and developer portals while connecting them to the tools they already use. 🛳️ After months of building, redesigning, testing, and learning, it's finally live. docny.io

For weeks, residents across Alimosho and Agege told me refuse had not been collected despite paying monthly waste bills. I visited the communities, followed the waste payment chain, and examined what’s happening inside the system supervised by the Lagos Waste Management Authorit
From Alimosho to Agege, the pattern is the same. Residents pay about ₦3,000 monthly for waste evacuation under the supervision of the Lagos Waste Management Authority. Yet heaps of refuse now line streets and block drainage channels. Read the investigation below: businessday.ng/investigation…
