Only a fool would say that the BBC are biased in favour of Unionism. They are quite the opposite! – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland

Manchester United could well finish the day second from bottom in the league. And that would be about right given the way they are playing. #CHEMUN – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland

The TUV don’t want the Assembly to exist, it’s as simple as that. Can’t see them ever participating in Unionist unity on any terms other than their own. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
Jonny Buckley calls for Unionist unity. Fair enough, it’s an aspiration shared widely across the community. Within hours, the TUV are attacking him through various statements and comments, further inflaming divisions in the public eye. Also fair enough, if that’s the approach they wish to take. The real problem within Unionism lies between the DUP and TUV, as evidenced by their recent bickering on The View. If they can’t resolve those differences, don’t expect miracles.

When are you ever going to accept the fact that (as everyone knew at the time) you simply weren’t up to the job? That’s the reason you’re gone, nothing else, get over it. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
In the 1980s, the BBC staff were nearly all from North Down. Nepotism was rife, so the engineers were all Philip and Jill. In sport, you had 4 hours of radio on Saturday and 15 minutes on Sunday. Hockey, cricket and even pigeon racing got more than GAA. I'm not joking. Part 2..

And yet an utterly hopeless broadcaster like you rose to quite a position of prominence. Guess themmuns took their eye off the ball.

It’s not real life. It’s a game show, get over it. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
I hope James Acaster is ok. No appearance and not even mentioned on the uncloaked show.

Since you want to talk about votes, the recent opinion poll shows your party at 1 percent, yes one pathetic percent. All of your pro Palestine/ Garvaghy grandstanding has come to nothing. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
How many votes was Jon Burrows elected by? Asking for a friend.

Karma awaits people like Sean. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
There’s always one. Appreciate everyone’s posts of support. It’s far from easy to share this sort of stuff trust me but there’ll always be people like Sean. Don’t let him or anyone like him stop you talking. Also, TMS is available to anyone as far as I’m aware

But republican MPs won’t even attend Parliament 🤷‍♂️. You lot are bloody hypocrites! – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
🚨This is partition playing out 🚨In a united Ireland the government will attend economic summits 🚨The nature of partition means people in the north are let down time and time again 🚨This isn’t just about bigotry and arrogance, it’s actually facilitated because of partition

“Important event”! There’s no more important event than taking your place in the parliament you were elected to. The hypocrisy from Finucane here is off the scale! For a solicitor this guy comes across as thick as mince. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
Sinn Féin MP John Finucane says an economic event in Glasgow at which the First and deputy First Minister were due to meet with Prime Minister Andy Burnham was an "important" event. "It is an absolute disgrace that meeting is not taking place," he said.

Davy Adams, of all people, is now on the republican hate list! No longer a token Prod and useful idiot. – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
"I’ve watched the history of the Troubles here being rewritten for nigh on 30 years. It seems all that’s needed are plenty of dedicated re-writers and an eager audience – both of which we have in spades – who religiously observe the age-old Irish allergy to blame. "Hence, the most widespread narrative of the Troubles, north and south, has become, in simple language, 'It was all the fault of the Brits and the Prods'." Read David Adams: tinyurl.com/4h6r2uy7

Nothing to say about the behaviour of the First Minister that led to this? Or do you once again choose to ignore SFs blatant disregard for the rule of law? A strange way to react to your recent lowly position in the polls. – at Crossgar, Northern Ireland
The Economic Forum tomorrow matters to the people of NI. That we won't be represented at a major UK conference to support NI because of the DUP's internal wranglings is not only disgraceful, but self-defeating, self-harming and short-sighted.

There’s something deeply insecure about people (morons) who make up fake stories like this for clicks. 👇 – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
🚨🎙️ Harry Kane on his altercation with Kylian Mbappé after winning the Ballon d’Or. Reporter: We saw you having a moment with Mbappé after the ceremony. What was that about? Harry Kane: Honestly, after receiving my award, everyone was congratulating me, so I thought he was coming to congratulate me too. But instead, he said something I found really unprofessional, and I felt disappointed because Mbappé is someone I respect a lot. I never expected that from him, especially at a moment that was supposed to be about celebrating the achievement. Reporter: What exactly did he say to you? Harry Kane: He looked at me and said, “Congratulations on stealing my award.” I was shocked. I looked at him like, how can you say that to me? I’m not the one who voted for myself. I worked hard throughout the season, and the voters made their decision. I was angry, but I tried to remain professional. Then he said, “You had a great season, but everyone knows I’m the rightful winner of this award.” That’s when I really lost my patience. Honestly, I don’t even know if I said something I shouldn’t have, but I wasn’t going to stand there and let him disrespect me. Reporter: What did you say in response? Harry Kane: I told him to shut up and move on because if there’s anyone who should be disappointed, it’s Lamine Yamal, not him. Lamine had an incredible season, won the most prestigious trophy in international football, and still came to congratulate me with respect. He had every reason to feel disappointed, yet he showed class. So why are you standing here complaining? Are you seriously going to cry because you didn’t win? What made me even angrier was that I genuinely respect Mbappé, but respect has to go both ways. I don’t feel proud of how that moment unfolded because I respect him as a player, but that doesn’t mean I’ll accept being disrespected by him.

The quotes attributed to Harry Kane about an altercation with Kylian Mbappé are fabricated. Agree with your sentiments, but why don’t you talk privately to Gavin and share your thoughts rather than grandstanding on social media? – at Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland
My message to Gavin Robinson, Jim Allister and fellow unionists is simple: we may sometimes disagree, but let’s disagree more agreeably. Tearing lumps out of each other serves neither our cause nor our country.
