the best kind of debugging involves a failure that feels impossible at the outset but by the end you understand the issue so well you wonder how the system worked at all
Perhaps the only place worse for thoughtful dialogue about complex topics than this former bird app is a protest / counter protest line. There are scared, hurting kids in New Brunswick that do not feel safe at home or cannot trust their parents to accept them unconditionally.
I can’t personally convince @premierbhiggs to change his tactics or prioritize protecting kids instead of sowing division to mobilize intolerant people in a bid to garner support in the next election.
But shaking my head at home helps no one.
I’m represented by @DavidCCoon. He doesn’t need convincing.
What do we do? Send letters? Sign petitions? My x-tweets won’t change the narrative. I don’t even dare leave comments fully open on this thread because I’ve seen the vitriol from all sides.
What’s a moderate to do?
