It's annoying how good this is. I wish I'd written it.
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with everything I want to do (or need to do) and the solution has always been the same: do literally anything.

OMG this is brilliant. This woman put her tech skills to use to troll VA Gov. Glenn Youngkin over a tipline he put up to report CRT. Her talk will give you life.

The world is unfair to night owls.
School: they're as bright as larks, yet get poorer grades—except in afternoon & evening classes.
Work: if they start later but deliver identical hours & results, they're still penalized.
We should let people engage when they're most alert.

If your printer malfunctions:
1) Remain calm. Hold your ground or back away slowly.
2) Continue facing the printer, and do all you can to appear larger. Stand upright, raise your arms, open your jacket.
3) Never bend over or crouch down, avoid looking like a prey animal.

Once you get used to a keyboard-driven window manager, it'll be the first thing you install on a fresh machine.
It's so nice to be able to hit a few keys and center, maximize, resize to half or a quarter of the screen, move something to a different display, etc.
