Off to New York to represent @getnoan at Irish Startup Week, run by @digitalirish We’re one of 31 great Irish startups landing to experience first-hand the power and reach of the Irish network in New York.
The team behind @digitalirish is made up of amazing people at the heart of that network, and I’ve seen it myself - they genuinely get energy from helping ambitious Irish companies and founders thrive in the US, making connections for them, smoothing the path and sharing their deep experience in the American market. We hear about the strength of the Irish overseas so much it’s almost a dismissable cliché, but when people from other countries see how the Irish operate they’re often blown away - we Irish are natural networkers, we do it without thinking, without making it feel cold and transactional - it’s just how we naturally connect, inclusively and amiably, but also deeply.
I’m so glad to see this initiative take off - and that @getnoan gets to be part of it this year.
