That we are here 13 years later, with Getaround draped across the front of the NYSE is just such a huge testament to the sheer determination and grit that you guys have shown in starting a company in one of the absolute hardest spaces there is. Massive kudos!

I recently hit 10,000+ annotations on the fantastic Hypothes.is platform. In celebration, the kind team sent me a care package with a lovely card, some sticky flags, stickers, and chocolate to see me through the next 10,000.
Thanks @Hypothes_is!

Yesterday I rented a boat and took the leader of one of Flexport's partners in Long Beach on a 3 hour of the port complex. Here's a thread about what I learned.

Last spring, we joined with Indiana University's @postdigitalJH to start the biggest study on #annotation ever. Now the data is rolling in: over 1,000 students and in 50+ courses created more than 20,000 annotations. Read @remikalir on what we might learn: hubs.li/H0YlbH10

@dwhly thought you might want to note that I ported the @hypothes_is annotation SmartBlocks to a script for @obsdmd. I call it Hypothes.idian -- yes I know, very creative.

Small sample size, granted, but I asked my undergrads what was helping them learn best this semester and 30% said the annotation assignments thru @hypothes_is. That's more than lecture and discussion. First time I've used this tool and it's excellent!

The @hypothes_is sidebar no longer covers PDFs when there is enough screen real estate - this has shipped for our LMS app and embedded client; coming to the browser extension soon! Thanks and kudos to @judell for the initial prototype & @lyzadanger for the implementation!
