#Insiders the media in this country - especially Murdoch - has whipped up division, pile-on's, biased expose's, character assassinations for decades. This country suffers from an epidemic of bullying in schools and workplaces. That's cultural. It all existed before social media.

How the heck were all the reserves the same? Houses 4 and 5 were bigger and were on bigger blocks. House 4 also had the ridiculous kitchen inclusion #TheBlock #theblockau

No, nor do any of the radio stations including 774, nor any of the newspapers. We have new hospitals, new swimming centres, new roads, new railway crossings, new schools and a lot of other things that are new, improved day to day stuff but we never get to hear about that.

Fascinating to watch Ch 9 Sydney coverage of Sydney Metro West opening today. Joyous celebration of a gift to Western Sydney- no mention it cost $27-29b after being initially costed at $12b. I donβt recall any coverage of Metro Tunnel not mentioning cost blowouts.

This is the national dividend from the major parties playing nothing but politics for two decades.
It is squarely on their heads, and explains the rise of populist parties who amplify grievance.
The majors should be ashamed.
(But they won't be, because they can't see any more)

The idea that progressive voters will continue to grit their teeth and vote Labor after it was gifted a historic majority is, frankly, a fairy tale, writes Amy Remeikis.

A lot of the recent home price boom reflected a rise in overall inflation (via rents).
Sydney prices up only 7% in a decade after inflation. Melbourne prices are down.
Although Syd/Mel prices are falling fast now, they won't fall the mostβsmaller capitals will.

Apparently Labor MPs should never go anywhere anytime because Australia is in a constant state of crisis.
The Right are a joke.

Heβs a particularly loathsome lightweight, whose never understood the Senate assignment.
Perhaps because heβs incapable of learning or maybe just palpably stupid.
Hard to tell. #auspol
#TheBlock logical that one of the 2 with more land sells for more money. The next auction is critical to verify the first sale. And house 5 is the biggest site of all of them.
#TheBlock ok house 5 with the most land. House 4 sold for $4.72m and well above reserve. House 5 has reserve of $3.5m reduced by $50k.
#TheBlock house 5 $4.355m probably indicates house 4 result was a bit inflated but that happens at auctions. Reserves on houses 4 and 5 should have been $4m, not sure if that matters at this point...
#TheBlock House 1 $3.905m. House 2 $4.0m. Small premium for a slightly better view. Still logical. Next one will be very interesting.
#TheBlock house 2 auction 3 $3.817m it's a minor percentage difference and is the only uptown house in the middle of 2 others. The range of the 3 uptown houses is under 5%, pretty consistent.

Apropos of absolutely nothing but I'm just dropping by to say that MacGregor Logistics in Melbourne's west's slogan is: "Putting people first."
Nothing to do with anything of course, just thought that was interesting.
