I wrote some stuff about defence innovation in Ukraine, after years as an observer both from afar and close to the soldiers on the ground in Ukraine. RT and shares are highly appreciated 💛💙
Our latest piece at Tochnyi, by @eDrotning, looks at the gap between Ukraine’s battlefield innovation ecosystem and Western defence industry habits. This @7corpsDSHV interview captures 'the problem and the road to succeeding' in Ukraine remarkably well. 1/6

Important thread for anyone in charge of or relying on vital infrastructure that was targeted last weekend in St. Petersburg.
1/ Together with @jembob (well, mostly him😅), we found 15+ new towers within a 50 km radius of Putin’s Valdai residence, forming an 'outer ring' facing south (toward Ukraine).

Reports indicate that a 🇺🇦 Ukrainian strike hit an Ozon logistics facility in Russia’s Omsk region. It marks the sixth reported strike to cause significant damage to the 🇷🇺 Russian online marketplace’s facilities. Tochnyi has updated its infographic on the strikes. For a closer look at the economic impact, see Stanimir Dobrev’s posts (@Delfoo) ⬇️
Ozon Omsk facility costs investments, jobs and rebuilding costs: Jobs: 1000 Investment: 4 billion rubles Area: 40 000 out of group of warehouses with 96 000 square meters. Rebuild costs: 4 billion - 9,6 billion rubles.

Fact is, delivering just 50 Taurus cruise missiles and using them on the right targets at the right time would probably save hundreds of IRIS-T/Patriot interceptors.
Hey! What does @bundeskanzler always say? Ukraine doesn't need Taurus KEPD-350 cruise missiles anymore. Sure thing. That's why newly delivered Storm Shadow cruise missiles are literally being used in real time, while they're also rushing to establish a production line in Ukraine.

This is not something I am watching on the news or scrolling past on social media. This is something I live through here on the ground every day. I don’t think I have ever believed in luck as much as I do now. “Tomorrow is not guaranteed” feels very literal here. It’s hard to truly understand that feeling unless you’ve lived it. I understand that being here is my choice. But my team is here. The people we serve are here. And to make the right strategic decisions about what is actually needed, I need to be present and understand the reality on the ground. Some days are harder than others. But every day reminds me why being here matters.
Every window in Ukraine holds a life just as full as yours. The moments imagined here are ordinary. Nobody should need an extraordinary story to deserve to live. Look at your window tonight. Think of everything happening on your side of the glass. Someone you love. Something unfinished. Plans you expect to wake up and keep. Russia keeps turning Ukrainian homes into places people used to live, to dream, to hope. Every time we scroll past the wreckage, we need to remember what we’re looking at: someone’s entire world. Help Ukraine defend the lives still behind those windows. Support Ukraine. Ask your representatives to do the same. #RussiaIsATerroristState #StandWithUkraine

🎞️ | Is a Russian Bank Run Next?? - With Stanimir Dobrev A major Yandex cyberattack has caused widespread outages for Yandex Direct and Yandex Bank services. The incident has halted critical digital operations. Between October 11th and 14th, 2026, significant digital disruptions crippled key infrastructure, forcing the suspension of court procedures and halting normal operations. We analyze the impact of this Russian bank outage on daily digital commerce and the broader operational network. While Yandex Pay is gradually returning, engineers continue the complex service restoration process to bring full functionality back online. Subscribe for regular updates on regional infrastructure stability, and comment below on how you see these disruptions affecting the market. If a bigger outage hits Sberbank or VTB, Stanimir warns it could trigger a run on the banks. (credit: @delfoo)

Since when is releasing a hostage you’ve been holding captive and torturing, in exchange for something, an act of humanity…?
Q: Witkoff called Putin 'a humanitarian' for agreeing to release Stephen Hubbard. Do you agree with that? JD VANCE: I agree with Steve Witkoff saying something nice to a person who just released an American hostage.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Ukraine throughout these years and ask for your help in the end of this text, please read the whole post and repost it greatly helps. Today, russian terror continues all across Ukraine. Unable to make progress on the battlefield and achieve control over the Donbas, russia has switched to terror against Ukrainian cities. Hundreds of families, children, and their mothers are being killed with no military objective. The only objective is terror, to make Ukraine unlivable, to make its people surrender. As if that terror weren't enough, russia uses its influence over the US administration to pressure Ukraine into surrender. The results are quite depressing. The death toll is terrible. Images of dead Ukrainian children and entire families are being suppressed by social media platforms run by russia-aligned oligarchs. Ukraine is in a very tough position. But even considering all of that, Ukraine is still standing and holding off russian aggression. The voices of traitors and enemies are getting louder: "Just die and let us move on to the next target." You must understand exactly that. The goal is not to make Ukraine surrender so that it's all over. The goal is to destroy the precedent. The goal is to remove Ukraine as an obstacle to further conquest and terror against those who remain free. I know it sounds dramatic, but if history teaches us anything, it's that after devouring one target and celebrating its success, the monster will only grow hungrier. Most citizens of the West live without thinking about the death and suffering that could be unleashed against them. They think that wars against them are a thing of the past, and that the protection provided is guaranteed. It's not. The main message to Ukraine from tyrannical dictators and wannabes is that it's not a real country, that it's Ukraine's fault, that Ukraine started the war. The gaslighting is there to make sure that no one will support you. If you think someone will come and help you, that may not be the case. The techno-oligarchy will launch a wave of gaslighting, making the victim into a villain, an aggressor who could have just surrendered to stop the terror and suffering it inflicted on itself. But Ukraine still stands, and it needs help. Today, I'm fundraising to help Ukraine get critical engineering machines. These machines build shelters and bunkers that protect people from russian missiles, drones and bombs. These are excavators that dig deep into the ground to help Ukraine survive. Our goal is to raise $100,000, and we're already 65% of the way there. I'm asking you to donate, like, and share this message. I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Ukraine throughout these years and ask for your help in the end of this text. donation link: givebutter.com/liberty-engin…

After speaking to Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines I just decided to donate another 500$ to Constantine's Engineering Equipment Fundraiser. Your donation is not just funding machines. It's helping build shelter, resilience, and the chance to come home alive. Especially now, as russia is changing its approach to how they fight this war, especially now, before winter, this equipment will help keep our people alive. Every contribution matters. Please follow me and donate: givebutter.com/liberty-engin…
Hello everyone. Today I’m starting another fundraiser to get engineering equipment to Ukraine, and I’m asking for your help by sharing, donating, and liking this post. Even if you can’t donate, sharing it genuinely makes a difference. Plase watch the video with their CV90 Crew explaining the importance of this equipment. The donation link is in the comments below. A good friend of mine from the 21st Mechanized Brigade of the UAF has been working on improving the survivability and effectiveness of the 🇸🇪 CV90 IFVs and, most importantly, the soldiers inside them. He recently reached out to me asking for help getting engineering equipment for his brigade. This is one of those things that doesn’t look as dramatic as drones, armored vehicles, or weapons, but it directly saves lives. A properly dug fighting position, trench, vehicle shelter, or reinforced position can be the difference between soldiers surviving an artillery or drone attack and not coming home. Unfortunately, because of bureaucracy and often simple neglect by higher command, excavation equipment remains critically overlooked. It is one of the most obvious low-hanging fruits on the battlefield: relatively inexpensive machinery that can save soldiers’ lives and protect multimillion-dollar equipment. The brigade already has several excavators, but they are in critically bad condition. We are already working on getting those repaired. But even if every one of them were operational, it still wouldn’t be enough for the brigade’s needs. Their full request is for 3 excavators, transportation for them, a crane, and pickup trucks. The total cost would be around $240,000. I wish I could say we can raise all of it, but with the current level of donations, I don’t think that is realistic. So we scaled the fundraiser down to $100,000. That will allow us to purchase 3 excavators and a truck capable of transporting them. It is still a huge amount of money. But these machines will not sit somewhere in storage. They will be working every day, digging positions, protecting vehicles, and giving Ukrainian soldiers a better chance of surviving. And that is why I’m asking for your help. If you can donate, even a small amount helps. If you can’t donate, please like and repost this post. The more people who see it, the better chance we have of reaching this goal. Thank you to everyone who has supported our previous fundraisers and continues supporting Ukraine. Don't mind the snow in the video, they asked for this in march, and unfortunately I couldn't fundraiser until today. But we have been working on repairing their equipment and supplying some machines since June. Donation link is in the 1st comment below.

Trump: "Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much." I thought we’d hit rock bottom, but we’re still digging… Tragedy after tragedy and absolute monstrous behaviour…
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Kaliningrad OTH radar 📡 1. I would like to shed some clarity on a topic we covered extensively on @tochnyi a year ago. First this is not a piece of EW, nor it is "New". What you can see here is a transmission site for the Russian Kontayner 29B6 System.
Russia could deploy up to 100 nuclear warheads in the Kaliningrad region According to The Times, Russia has already begun deploying nuclear warheads in the region, which has storage facilities and delivery systems for nuclear weapons. Satellite imagery also shows the construction of a large radar system in Gvardeysk, 32 km from the Polish border and 64 km from Lithuania. The complex consists of three rows of antenna masts, each around 500 meters long. The station could detect missiles, ships and aircraft at distances of up to 3,200 km, covering a significant part of Europe. In addition, the Kaliningrad region has been a source of GPS interference for several years. According to Lithuanian estimates, Russia has deployed at least 36 antennas there for GPS spoofing — the falsification of satellite navigation signals.

As major battles unfold in Donbas, @WarUnitObserver examines the restructuring and reinforcement of what are often called the “fortress cities.” Focusing on developments since summer 2026, the thread examines Ukrainian forces' movements 🇺🇦 across the region. Read the thread below ⬇️
🇺🇦Ukrainian reinforcements deploy to the “fortress cities” As the final battles for Donbas seem to be looming on the horizon, the new 🇺🇦command team led by Maj. Gen. Mykhailo Drapatyi might be drastically restructuring the frontline in the region. Following Syrskyi’s replacement in the summer, a decision was made to split the area of operations in Donetsk oblast between two new force groupings: 🔵 UV Center, under Brig. Gen. Biletskyi, in charge of the sector between Borova (Kharkiv oblast) and Druzhkivka 🔵UV Azov, under Brig. Gen. Prokopenko, in charge of the sector between Druzhkivka and Novopavlivka (Dnipropetrovsk oblast) The defense of Donbas, and more specifically of its fortress belt, now rests on these two command bodies. UV Center is entrusted with the larger cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, while UV Azov guards its right flank on the Pokrovsk-Dobropillya axis of advance. The crucial importance this sector holds was highlighted in August 2025, when Russian forces attempted to break through northeast of Dobropillya. Their maximalist objective was the city of Barvinkove, a key logistical hub for the defense of the fortress cities. The Main Supply Routes (MSRs) connecting Dnipro to Kramatorsk, Slovyansk and Izyum all pass through Barvinkove. For the Ukrainians, the loss of Barvinkove would put the fortress belt at risk of encirclement. For the Russians, occupying the fortress belt would complete the capture of Donbas.
