I went through Anthropic's S-1 filing, expecting its $80.7 billion reported loss to be the most surprising number. Instead, I found myself looking at where the money is flowing. Amazon and Google are investing billions into Anthropic. But they're also among the companies Anthropic is contractually committed to paying billions for computing infrastructure. Just look at these numbers: → At least $110 billion committed to Amazon. → Approximately $114.5 billion committed to Google. → Around 48% of H1 2026 revenue generated through cloud marketplaces. In other words, Anthropic's strategic backers stand to benefit from its rising valuation, infrastructure spending, and expanding distribution network. Which brings me to a bigger question: Could the biggest financial winners from the Al boom be the companies selling the infrastructure rather than those building the models? It's an interesting possibility when the same companies can participate in the upside of an investment while collecting payments from the business they're backing. #AnthropicIPO #Anthropics1filing #ClaudelPO #Alboom

About a month ago, @MorningstarInc highlighted my reporting for @TheStreet, where I examined Bank of America’s warning that excessive bullish positioning could leave the S&P 500 vulnerable to a pullback.

Crypto exchanges may have little reason to sell your data. Why? Because keeping it could be much more valuable, especially as AI agents begin making financial decisions on your behalf. @KyleReidhead explains what that future could look like. What if your crypto exchange could anticipate your next financial move before you even thought about making it? @KyleReidhead, Co-Owner of @milkroaddaily, believes the data exchanges collect may be far more valuable for powering AI than being sold to third parties. That could change what trading platforms are capable of doing on your behalf. Watch our conversation to hear where he thinks this is heading. One of the rewarding parts of journalism is seeing the work travel beyond its original audience. Always great to come across academic case studies referencing my stories and using the reporting as part of wider research and analysis.

For most of its history, cryptography relied on secrecy. Not just secret keys, but secret systems. Cryptographer @Valorianxyz, Co-founder and CTO at @valoryag, explains why modern cryptography takes the opposite approach: a system should remain secure even when an adversary understands exactly how it works. The real protection comes from the one thing they do not have: "a secret that no one else has." In my piece for @FXFinanceFeeds, I explore why that principle matters even more as AI agents become increasingly autonomous. Thanks to @YAPGlobal for the introduction, and a shoutout to @outsourceposts for the video production and edits. Read the full article here:

I pushed this out over a year ago. Glad to see it’s still relevant and ranks #1, sometimes #2 on SERP
