I’m not Israeli so truly no one needs to listen to what I say. But…if one is worried that the Arabs aren’t Zionist, may remind them — neither are the Haredim!
Assuming the Israeli exit polls are more or less accurate (not Ch. 14), there is now going to be huge pressure on Eisenkot and the opposition to form a unity government with Netanyahu. Doing so would be a big mistake, both substantively and politically 🧵

Not enough discourse on Elizabeth Holmes' extensive use of the baby bjorn. Even on top of a bed! A couch! I mean damn my babies loved it too, but...

Regardless of where you stand on this election, it’s moving to see @gadi_eisenkot accompany former hostage Gadi Moses to his polling place to vote…in Kibbutz Nir Oz. On October 7th, 2023, one in four residents of Nir Oz were killed or taken hostage. After being massacred, Israelis rebuild their communities to flourish. One of many signs of Israel’s promise: the ballot box.

This type of fearmongering about Israel is wrong. It is not a winning strategy for any state. It does nothing to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot in eight days. Do we need to lower costs by building more homes, securing people’s health care, and creating a fairer federal tax code? Yes, we do!! How we do so is not by blaming the high costs of our goods on the only Jewish homeland in the world. I want to see Democrats succeed at every level, and that means keeping our focus on lowering costs for Michigan families and reining in this out-of-control President.
New @RebellionPac ad dropping in Michigan. We have to suffer here at home, so Israel can get all its wars. That’s why they buy politicians like Mike Rogers. He promised to serve Israel “unconditionally,” but never made that promise to you.

EVERY ad in these Israeli elections has a very obvious use of AI, whereas the American electorate seems entirely turned off by AI in ads. Thoughts?

I mean Cenk is dumb and a bigot. Everyone knows this. But this ad is dumb and bigoted at scale. It’s innumerate and morally obtuse and if anything remotely like it was aimed at Muslims he and his ilk would (defensibly) be outraged. But this shit is fine when aimed at the you know who.

As someone who grew up in the conservative movement and at reform camp, I’m here to say the orthodox world can do a lot better with the kids music and I’m so happy my kids go to pluralistic school so they get those Debbie Friedman bops too.

Wedgewood polling caused Democrats to end up with the least electable of the three candidates running in the primary in Michigan, and it has cost our party tens of millions of dollars to try to protect what should be a safe blue seat. We need to know who was behind this poll, who was getting paid, and what the mission was overall.

Wedgewood was one of the "pollsters" that @AbdulElSayed leaned on to push back on criticisms that he was less electable in a general election-->

Anyone else exhausted by the security funding? Kids accustomed to multiple armed guards at synagogue and school? I don’t have the solution, but damn it feels like lighting money on fire instead of changing anything.
Senate Dem leader Chuck Schumer’s midterms pledge to the Jewish community: “When I become — God-willing — majority leader, we will get even more money … for our nonprofit security grants so desperately needed by the Jewish community and other communities facing this scourge of bigotry in America.”

The correct follow up question then is - who are America’s friends? What are the criteria? Is current government relevant? Should we ever provide aid to countries who are not our friends? I’m actually interested in understanding his broader worldview!
Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed shared his views on U.S.-Israel relations, saying he does not consider Israel an American ally: “I think it’s time for us to realize that Israel is not actually our friend.” Watch the full conversation tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC News Live Prime’s “All Access with Linsey Davis” streaming on @disneyplus and @hulu.

The political alliance between Trump and Netanyahu - and the back hand Netanyahu has given to every Democratic President - are driving a lot of the Dem party's concerns Israel's actions. The people of Israel should understand for their upcoming elections that a reelected Netanyahu is a message to Democrats as well.
President Trump, my friend Donald - thank you for your extraordinary endorsement. Israel has never had a greater friend in the White House. Together we will never let Iran's regime get nuclear weapons. Thank you for your clarity, courage and unwavering support. @realDonaldTrump

Jewish voters have been amongst the most loyal voters to the Democratic party and I find this very sad to see.
