hi all! I know that most everyone is not thrilled with what Twitter has become. I've been using Bluesky for the past year and it's proven to be a really solid platform and by far my favorite of the alternatives – at Boulder, CO

Let's be honest here: This was an across-the-board shift away from the Democratic Party. Not just one demo (though Hispanics shifted the most). Two main reasons: Inflation and Democratic priorities and language that just doesn't appeal to non-college people (esp. men).

no Tech Guild workers no Needle (as we've come to know it)
Replying to @Nate_Cohn
As you may have read, our colleagues in the Tech Guild are on strike. While they don't play a role in the model itself, they built and maintain the infrastructure that feeds us data and lets us publish on the internet

Wow, a huge voting rights change in Colorado: people in jail (often held pretrial) are eligible to vote, but almost always are not given ballots. Colorado adopted a law this year to require voting centers in jail. Read about it here: boltsmag.org/colorado-voting…
*3* people, out of more than 1,000 eligible, voted from the Jefferson County (Denver suburbs) jail in November 2022, per the county clerk. Colorado recently passed a law forcing jails to offer in-person voting. Now, JeffCo reports hundreds of jail voters so far this cycle:

This is pretty wild. The GOP acknowledged that their failure to contest the early vote in 2020 was a massive liability. They invested heavily in it this time around. Yet as it draws to a close, they are now running behind 2020 margins for the first time.
Via TargetEarly, it is now official - Dems head into E-Day in a stronger position in the battleground early vote than 2020. More D post-Dobbs overperformance. Rs big campaign to make gains in the early vote has failed, and their EV "memos" are just pure bullshit.

LOL - Atlas's last Pennsylvania poll simply eliminated half the state's black population from its likely voter screen.
