Xabi Alonso hails Romeo Lavia:
🗣 "I always have the feeling that every time the midfield area works, the team works better. Romeo is in a very good place, not just the last game. I think that for the last month he's been very consistent in his performance.
He's been very important for the team because in the middle you need to have a brain for yourself, but a brain for the team. He's good with the ball, he's giving balance, and he's connecting really well with the players around him. It's not rocket science to know that once you have good midfielders, the team normally looks better."

I have a feeling Tuchel will attend tomorrow's game only for Palmer to drop a hatrick on his head.
Acheampong, Colwill, Henderson and Rogers will also have sth to prove tomorrow.

🚨 Werner: 'The style of the team maybe was not right for me but it was for the team, if i joined Liverpool maybe I would have had more counter attacks. In the league under Tuchel it was a bit of a problem, we struggled against the Burnley's and Sheffield United's, but we were unbelievable in knockouts, we were always good against the big teams, in the knockouts we were compact, good enough to score but we were so good at defending. N'golo, Jorginho and Kova did a great job, but we were never good enough in the Premier League to win the title'
'In the second season we should have gone through to the semi final when we lost to Madrid' (@TheLateRunShow)
