-You can blame Israel for this and they should be blamed for creating these condition and continuing blockade
-You can blame the corrupt so called " Board of Peace " who didn't do anything so far for peace
-You can blame the corrupt and dysfunctional PA
- But I don't know why a lot of people they don't want to give Hamas any sort of blame, they are currently the currently the caretakers of Palestinians in Gaza and it is responsibility as any government since they don't wan to disarm to protect their citizens as Israel and any other country want to protect their citizens , Hamas through the years never invested in the infrastructure and spent all these NGO money , donations and taxed on militarizing Gaza and yet these evil trash people like Mahdi Hasan and Owen Jones don't want to talk about that . No Hamas begging the world to intervene while they are working on rebuilding tunnels and restocking weapons. It is time to tell Hamas it is enough otherwise you put bandaid with fixing the problem temporarily and it will keep coming again
With heavy rain and destroyed infrastructures where hundreds of thousands of people living in tents , Gazans have been flooded , may God help the poor people. Nothing on the horizon how long this situation will stay in t absence of political will from all sides.
But don't worry guys this sacrifices were worth it so Americans changed their views and elected first Muslim Anti AIPAC senator

This mostly seems to work in one direction: you can convert vanilla ProteinMPNN to SolubleMPNN, but the reverse is more difficult. Seems like its easier to remove existing circuits with weight-space programming than it is to introduce new ones.

Tsarist Russia: famously a paradise for Jews.
A common myth about Zionism was that Zionist settlers in Palestine were themselves fleeing persecution ….
However so many of them dispel that myth in their own writings.

The Philistines first show up during Ramses III's reign in the Early Iron Age. It is the Israelites whose roots go back to the Bronze Age (LB II). Furthermore, the latter display continuity in material culture with BA Canaan, while the former display continuity with BA Greece.

Why did the wealth tax get crushed in CA? Was it because it was badly written? Was there any version of it that could have passed?
I’m not sure a state/level approach makes sense, given domestic capital mobility. But this thing where we only tax W2 earners isn’t a great trend.

There is a collective hallucination going on in the tech world maybe just as bad as being forced to wear masks outdoors during covid. And its this idea that AI can solve every problem and lesser so that people actually want to talk your "agents"...
I struggle, wanting to remove myself from tech culture because this hallucination is induced in part because no one in it really seems to understand craft or quality or culture.
Its even more surprising because lots of these people have money and so have eaten really good food, used really good electronics and sat in really good furniture.
It seems like tech people don't actually have taste and can't tell why a $30k table is different than something you spend 10 minutes "designing".
What is the disconnect? Is it for the attention, the TL likes? Do people actually believe this stuff they are peddling?
Because if they do I can't relate. I see a $30k piece of furniture and see painstaking choices that were made for beauty, functionality and craft. I see it in everything from a good croissant, cup of coffee, piece of clothing, perfume, everything. Once you understand craft its hard not to see it everywhere.
But AI has so many tech people believing they can create anything, which is laughable. It's cringe, it's a bubble that doesn't exist in reality.
Can tech just stay in its lane and go back being ok with and embracing the fact that you're just a nerd and thats ok. No onecin the real world wants you spending 10 minutes "designing" things and claiming you can replicate art.
Claude Code can design furniture part by part and then give you a bill of materials to order each part and put it together yourself
And way cheaper than big interior brands sell you their furniture
Furnishing my house I discovered how absolutely insane prices are for the most basic cheap materials put together with a fancy brand tied to it
One shop had a sofa for $30,000 😂
I think with Opus 5.5 and other models easily operating 3d programs like Blender and FreeCAD (both free) it makes more sense to cut out the middle man and go straight to suppliers and design and build your own furniture
Which in a way makes customers more powerful (they can get exactly what they want and usually for cheaper without the markup)
Anyway @theannalux designed this table from scratch, she's not a furniture designer, not a coder, she just had an idea of a style and worked with Claude Code in the terminal (far superior to the app I will keep saying this)
If you design your own furniture and buy the raw materials directly, you can save 85% compared to premium brands like Poliform
That means the $30,000 sofa becomes $4,500! And the $8,000 dinner table becomes just $1,200!
You can see where the idea comes from that AI will make everything 5x to 20x cheaper, and it's already starting!

The staggering discrepancies - both in factual details and overall framing - speak for themselves.

🚨🐄 With growing alarm over the renewed spread of 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 H5N1 in US dairy herds, the recent spillover into a Utah mink farm, and ongoing human cases, the #1 question remains:
𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 (α𝟮–𝟲) 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Yet after 2 years and thousands of mammal-to-mammal infections across cows, cats, mink, and wildlife, the main 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 lineage still hasn’t budged toward α𝟸–𝟼.
Here’s my current thinking on why — and why 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹’s unprecedented mammalian host breadth might actually be pushing it in the opposite direction, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 (α𝟮–𝟯) 𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴:
────────────────────
🔑 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿
Flu enters cells by grabbing sialic acid sugars (𝙷𝙰) and exits by cutting them (𝙽𝙰):
• 🦆🐄 α𝟸–𝟹 (𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲): Dominant in bird guts/airways, deep human lung, eye — and the 𝗰𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.
• 👃🧑 α𝟸–𝟼 (𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲): Dominant in the human nose & upper throat (where cough/sneeze transmission happens).
Historically, avian flu needed to flip 𝙷𝙰 from α𝟸–𝟹 to α𝟸–𝟼 (often via 𝚀𝟸𝟸𝟼𝙻) to spread between humans. Why hasn’t mammal-to-mammal spread in cattle nudged 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 toward α𝟸–𝟼?
────────────────────
🔒 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻-𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁
𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 isn’t evolving in an isolated upper-airway niche. In the tree of >5,600 genomes (thanks @nextstrain):
• 🔀 𝟮𝟳𝟵+ 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 from cattle into wild birds, poultry, barn cats, raccoons, skunks, rodents & mink
• ↩️ 𝟴𝟳 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 from birds back into cattle
Across 𝗮𝗹𝗹 of those niches — cow udders, bird guts, poultry, and carnivore/mink lungs — α𝟸–𝟹 is the shared entry receptor!
In lab studies on 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 𝙷𝙰, forcing in the human-type 𝚀𝟸𝟸𝟼𝙻 mutation collapses α𝟸–𝟹 binding and destabilizes the 𝙷𝙰 trimer. In a virus cycling between cow udders and farm wildlife, any mutant that trades α𝟸–𝟹 for α𝟸–𝟼 immediately loses fitness in the very tissues keeping the chain alive.
🧬 𝟮. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 α𝟮–𝟯 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱
Rather than shifting toward α𝟸–𝟼, clade 𝟸.𝟹.𝟺.𝟺𝚋 expanded its host range by making its binding pocket more flexible:
𝙺𝟸𝟸𝟸𝚀 → 𝚃𝟷𝟿𝟿𝙸 → 𝙳𝟷𝟶𝟺𝙶 → 𝚅𝟷𝟺𝟽𝙼
This lets 𝙷𝙰 grab a wider variety of α𝟸–𝟹 sugars (fucosylated, branched, and cattle NeuGc variants) while keeping α𝟸–𝟼 affinity near zero.
✂️ 𝟯. 𝗖𝗼-𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸-𝗜𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗔
As 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 𝙷𝙰 tightened its grip on α𝟸–𝟹 sugars in cattle, the viral scissor protein (𝙽𝙰) co-evolved matching mutations:
𝙽𝙰: 𝙺𝟷𝟷𝟷𝚁 | 𝚃𝟽𝟸𝙰 | 𝙽𝟺𝟹𝟺𝚂 | 𝙺𝟺𝟹𝟸𝙴
(𝙽𝟺𝟹𝟺𝚂 & 𝙺𝟺𝟹𝟸𝙴 sit right in 𝙽𝙰’s secondary helper pocket that grabs α𝟸–𝟹 sugars). Once 𝙷𝙰 and 𝙽𝙰 are co-tuned for α𝟸–𝟹, switching 𝙷𝙰 alone to α𝟸–𝟼 breaks their balance.
────────────────────
⚠️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅
Even if the cow–bird–mammal cycle locks the 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗸 into α𝟸–𝟹, three things make the resurgence, mink farm outbreak & human cases genuinely concerning:
⚙️ 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁:
Two years in cows fixed mammalian polymerase adaptations (𝙿𝙱𝟸:𝙼𝟼𝟹𝟷𝙻, 𝙿𝙰:𝙺𝟺𝟿𝟽𝚁) and a 4-mutation interferon-stealth stack in 𝙽𝚂𝟷 (𝙰𝟼𝟶𝚃 + 𝚀𝟸𝟻𝚁/𝙸𝟻𝟺𝙻/𝙴𝟽𝟶𝙰/𝙼𝟷𝟸𝟺𝚃) — and in Utah mink it immediately stacked 4 more (𝙿𝙱𝟸:𝚀𝟷𝟹𝚁, 𝙿𝙱𝟷:𝙺𝟹𝟾𝟾𝚁, 𝙿𝙰:𝙸𝟷𝟸𝟿𝚃, 𝙼𝟸:𝙶𝟻𝟾𝙳/𝚂𝟼𝟺𝙵). Spillovers no longer start from scratch.
🪜 𝟮. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗔 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀:
In 𝙱𝟹.𝟷𝟹 𝙷𝙰, 𝚀𝟸𝟸𝟼𝙻 works poorly alone, but gives clean human α𝟸–𝟼 binding when paired with 𝙰𝟷𝟽𝟸𝚃 (𝚃𝟷𝟼𝟶𝙰, which deletes a nearby sugar shield). In cattle, 𝙰𝟷𝟽𝟸𝚃 has already arisen ~𝟭𝟬 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 (#2 selected site in 𝙷𝙰).
🌿 𝟯. 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱-𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀:
A virus that spills into a human or pig — or reassorts with seasonal/swine flu — is in an α𝟸–𝟼 upper airway and never has to cycle back into a cow udder or a bird.
────────────────────
💡 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆
Expecting the 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 to gradually drift toward α𝟸–𝟼 probably misreads what selection in cows and farm wildlife rewards — which is locking in α𝟸–𝟹. The real risk isn’t where the main cattle trunk is heading, but that expanding mammal circulation keeps feeding a pre-adapted internal engine + permissive 𝙷𝙰 variants into side-branch exposures.

Stamp out hate!
Tidying my house before a short trip and I feel the need to put away the Judaica and any books that the pet sitter could have opinions about. (Can't do anything about the mezuzah on the front door.) Had a few moments where I wondered if I was being paranoid.
Then I open local social media to a post about excellent Israeli dates at a local store and see that it has dozens of comments that (1) repeat the bullshit genocide stuff, (2) insult Jews, and (3) threaten the store.
So yeah, putting the Judaica away and starting the search for a Jewish pet sitter for the future, just to be safe. Welcome to super liberal blue wave America.

His only “crime” is believing in Jesus Christ.
Another reminder of Egypt’s brutal authoritarianism and the persecution of Christians.
All human rights and Christian organizations must demand that the Egyptian authorities release him immediately.
