Jon Husted voted once to hide the Epstein files, 9 times to cut your health care, and 14 times to continue the Iran War.
You only get one chance to vote him out, don't miss it.

This is not Paris. It's obviously not Tel Aviv. It's Vitebsk, a place Chagall didn't forget about or try to excise from his identity. Lots of us still feel that way about the places our known ancestors came from.

As a 100% Jew whose ancestry is partly from Vitebsk (where Chagall spent the first 20 years of his life) and entirely from Eastern Europe, this pisses me off. Chagall was an Eastern European. All my ancestors circa 1880 were Eastern Europeans. That's a neutral statement of fact.
To describe Marc Chagall as anything other than a Jewish artist or to celebrate neighborhoods like Brighton Beach and Rego Park but not describe their Jewish character are just the latest examples of the Mayor's relentless, pathological campaign to erase Jews from the story.
He does it so often that one has to assume that this is not ignorance or accidental, but a deliberate effort to normalize antisemitism and marginalize Jewish New Yorkers.
It’s despicable.

Regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure.
We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half-measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo and sanctions until Palestine is free.

This nonsense is embarrassing for Goldman, for NYers, and, honestly, for “the Jews”
Dan lost bc his voters preferred a different candidate, who like Dan is a Zionist Jew, but who also happens to think race murder and collective punishment are inconsistent with Jewish values

My values, my identity and my community are far more important to me than any individual election result. Regardless, it’s widely understood that I lost in my particular district for the same reasons this ad is repugnant, blatantly false, and incites even more violence against Jews.
And sadly, you consistently add fuel to this slanderous and anti-Jewish fire.

The idea that Rashida Tlaib’s antipathy toward Israel would begin or end with Netanyahu. The human mind is capable of anything.

Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.

When will DSA be voting for expel the three DSA-LA councilmembers that endorsed the candidate that denies the genocide?
If you want to be righteous purist, don’t be hypocrites and fail to remove them. Be consistent.
The DSA National Political Committee has voted to unendorse and expel Nithya Raman
She has until October 31 to express clear direct support for BDS to retain endorsement, and until January 1 to condemn weapon shipments for Israel out of LAX to remain a member of DSA
Both resolutions are linked below

For everyone basking in a mix of excitement and relief today at the news coming out of Brazil, I hope you also take this lesson—nothing is inevitable. We can win hard, important victories (for the climate, for working people...).
We must ORGANIZE like our futures depend on it.

You lost your election because you support genocide.
You lost because you lied to us about taking AIPAC $ and corporate PAC $.
You lost because our district has moral clarity & courage.
And history will remember you for exactly what you are, a coward.

Bring it to a vote, @JulieMenin — or you're standing with billionaires over workers.
Since its reintroduction in April, the Delivery Protection Act has supermajority support in the New York City Council. Mayor Zohran Mamdani has committed to signing this critical legislation once passed. The only thing preventing New York City from making labor history? Council Speaker Julie Menin, who has failed to schedule this landmark bill for a vote.
Speaker Menin, it’s time to choose: Do you stand with every day New Yorkers who support the DPA, or with Amazon and other companies who endanger workers and the communities they deliver to?
Schedule the vote for the Delivery Protection Act and let the people of New York City have their say.
