This! 💯💯💯
If we want to evolve as a movement, we need to be open to criticism. Not everything will land. Not every message will be understood as intended. And that is okay.
I want to believe that artists create works to spark conversation, stir emotion, or process something deeper. But that also means being open to dialogue. Sometimes the meaning is lost or received differently, and that can lead to great discussions.
We don’t grow by avoiding criticism. We grow by engaging with it.

GANergy (2019)
An early AI experiment utilizing generative adversarial networks (GAN) such as Artbreeder to “paint” minimalistic figures.
While many were choosing to just create portraits or fantasy landscape outputs, I was focused on creating something that had a more cinematic abstract look.
