For over a year, playing any musical instrument has been banned in the centre of Birmingham. The on-the-spot fine is about to go up to £500. We are gathering to protest against this ban, outside the Rotunda from 2pm on Wednesday 4 November. There will be some busking and some short speeches. The event is organised by Campaign for Freedom in Everyday Life and Keep Streets Live Please share as widely as possible! Link in the comments...

We saw it with the Italian leader they marched into Strasbourg and made him resign, no one said a word. They forced Greece to vote a second time because they didn't like the original answer. The only people to stand up to the EU was the British people unlike that weak lot in the Labour party.

For those confused as to what’s happening in Poland right now… Imagine if Democrats won Congress, declared the Supreme Court didn't count anymore, ignored its rulings for 3 years, and then, a year before the next election, picked 8 new justices of their own, including a man their leader called his "right-hand man," and when the Republican president refused to swear them in, they swore themselves in and mailed him the paperwork, and when the Chief Justice said that wasn't legal and wouldn't seat them, they waited for a Friday night when the president was on a plane to Africa and had federal security officers who answer to a Democratic cabinet member walk 7 of them into the court through a back gate connected to the Democratic leader's own offices, where one of them announced she had "suspended" the Chief Justice, a move that even a law professor who openly can't stand him said had no legal basis, and then riot police blocked the Chief Justice from entering his own court, the court's website was taken over, the Attorney General moved that same night to strip his immunity so he could be prosecuted, the president had to turn his plane around mid-flight to come home, and the same people who spent years lecturing everyone about respecting the courts went online to say this was the rule of law, that it was painful, and that there was "no other way," which is roughly where Poland is tonight.

Have you noticed that this government are telling us to brace for decades of pain. To stock up for war. To get used to life being shit. It doesn’t have to be like this. What great leaders do, is inspire their people to be great. To succeed. They motivate businesses to win and individuals to strive to succeed. Great leaders create the environment where the country and its people believe they can have a better life and with that optimism comes success. This Labour Government destroys all hope, all aspiration and inspires misery. It doesn’t have to be like this.

If you don’t like pubs, drinking, or the thought of your kids indulging in British culture, it’s generally not a good idea to live in Britain.

Straightforward Marxism. Her whole schtick is based on disproven nonsense. But the blob loves it, because they are the same. Interested in what is morally acceptable to them. Not what works.

In May 1962, the only Japanese pilot who ever bombed the United States mainland during World War II stepped off a plane in Brookings, Oregon, with a 400-year-old samurai sword hidden inside his suitcase. In September 1942, Imperial Japanese Navy pilot Nobuo Fujita had launched from submarine I-25 in a tiny floatplane and dropped incendiary bombs on the forests outside Brookings. Nobody was hurt, and rain put the small fires out. Twenty years later, the young Americans of the Brookings Jaycees, many of them U.S. combat veterans, invited their former enemy to their town Azalea Festival. Fujita packed his family's 400-year-old katana for a terrifying reason. He silently vowed that if angry Americans pelted him with rotten eggs, he would draw that ancestral blade and commit traditional seppuku right there to apologize with his life. Instead, American World War II veterans stepped forward, looked him in the eye, and shook his hand with warm smiles. Moved to tears by the grace of small-town Americans, Fujita handed over the 400-year-old sword that had guarded his family for sixteen generations as a pledge of eternal peace. When a timber recession hit Brookings in 1985, Fujita paid 15,000 dollars from his own pocket to fly three Brookings high school students to Japan. And when he died at age eighty-five, his daughter buried part of his ashes beneath an Oregon redwood tree. Only a truly great nation can disarm a samurai with an outstretched hand.

Why is a £45 a year even in the headlines? Energy bills will increase by more than that.
Chancellor John Healey will remove standing charges from household gas bills for tens of millions of people, with the government estimating that 60% of households will save an average of £45 per year. Economics editor Faisal Islam is in Downing Street for #BBCBreakfast bbc.co.uk/news/live/cq62y5xn…

Labour and the Tories opened the floodgates to millions of migrants from across the world. Reform will achieve net negative migration, deport every illegal migrant and reverse this madness. End of.
