Heartbreakingly beautiful.

🇺🇸😭 This has me crying. For all of the griping I do about the current state of politics in this country, I know that when push comes to shove, the best of us show up and suddenly all of our differences no longer matter. It shouldn’t take something drastic to unify us.
There's a saying on American social media: "Be the American that Japanese people think you are." I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life. So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room. "When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38) "An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61) "If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45) "At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio) "A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21) "At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70) "American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33) "I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48) "When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39) "They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66) And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country. "Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing. The people running toward it. There are always so many." So, America. You don't have to become the Americans we think you are. We're not imagining you. We're remembering you.

WAIT WAIT WAIT — SO APPARENTLY IF YOU CAN FALL ASLEEP AFTER COFFEE OR ENERGY DRINKS AND THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST IMMUNE TO CAFFEINE — THAT'S ACTUALLY ONE OF THE MOST TELLING ADHD SIGNS THERE IS. Yes. And once you understand why, a lot of other things start making sense too. 1/6

Imagine bragging about doxing someone, let alone someone that has minor aged children. This is the most vile, reprehensible behavior.
Exactly who does she think is a sex predator because Blake Lively couldn't prove anything in two years and had to settle for no money because she was going to be a bigger fool if she went to trial. According to Sony she's a terrorist and Ryan Reynolds couldn't even get anyone to show public support for her...ouch I guess she can keep baking cakes though 🤪

Wow! I don't know whether to be surprised or scared! 😂 A woman in China checked her security camera after leaving for work. She saw her cat humming a little tune and dragging its own bed outside to sunbathe! As if it had been waiting for this moment all along! 😂❤️

Call me crazy but I genuinely believe that we’re here on this extraordinary planet to be shepherds, not conquerors. We should be guardians of its forests, rivers, oceans and all the creatures that call it home. Our role is not to dominate the living world, strip it of everything it has to offer and leave destruction in our wake. To make sure that those who come after us inherit a world still rich with life and wonder. We were never meant to own this planet.

Absolutely, without exception, under no circumstances should Ohio become a state.

If you would’ve told me 5 yrs ago that I would be retweeting Hunter Biden I would’ve thought you were crazy, but here we are. I now view Hunter as a reasonable voice out there. I am aware of his past, but that doesn’t negate the fact that Trump is an existential threat.
Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.” Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it. He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side. 58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been. He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war. Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.” The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.

1. I hate that this is even a topic of conversation due to the fact that we have lunatics in charge of our 🌎. 2. I ♥️ that there are people that will shift the energy by cracking a joke & getting people to smile. Those folks are precious and invaluable. 3. It’s all gonna be ok
Should a nuke ever drop, do not under any circumstance try to drive. You have a limited amount of time such as 10 minutes to get inside your house in the basement away from windows. It’s best to be as far inside your house as possible. If you are in the kill zone you will just die. For those not in kill zone, you need to stay inside for at least 24-72 hours up to a week due to radiation. Radio would give further instructions.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Get inside the nearest sturdy building immediately rather than traveling to your house. Shelter for at least 24 hours unless local authorities instruct otherwise. ready.gov/radiation fema.gov/sites/default/… cdc.gov/radiation-emer…
