Joe Arnold of BASF: the skills gaps is real, driven by an interest gap. More than half of all Texas jobs are middle skills jobs, those that require some post-secondary education and training, but not a 4-year degree.
Fortunate to serve on the Texas Public Policy Fountain panel on middle skill jobs. Currently, 56% of the jobs in Texas require middle skill training. Education policy needs to reflect the need. Success isn’t found only in a four year degree. @basf_texas @BASFCorporation
