In an effort to improve our team's content creation skill, so that we can support our clients better, we ran an internal challenge.
We offered a prize for whoever on the team had the largest % growth in reach over a 30 day period.
Here are the results:
- The lowest growth over 30 days was 2x
- The 3rd place was 19x growth
- 2nd place was 26x growth
And the winner of the challenge, at a staggering 951x growth was @johnny_clock.
This challenge was fun and got our team to understand new and better ways to support our clients.
It also taught me that if there's a certain behavior or skill you're trying to teach your teammates, the best way to get their buy-in and participation is by packaging it in a challenge.

> you asked AI to make your brand look "premium"
> it gave you a blue gradient
> you tried again and asked for NO MISTAKES
> same font as your other 67,000 competitors
> turns out "premium" means nothing to AI
> one word does more than a paragraph of adjectives
> that word is a design style name
here's exactly which 10 work:

2025 szn was one of the best for me
> grew a lot personally and professionally
> created a habit of going to the gym >3 times per week
> was cooking the whole year at my dream job, learning new skills and taking on more responsibilities
> travelled to Paris & Dubai for crypto conferences, met my Unfungible family irl
> moved out and lived 3 months in South Korea
> travelled to Tokyo and starting the new year by continuing my Asia tour
all this with my life partner by my side & our goofy ahh cat, my own family that I love more than anything
I try not to be melancholic, but the number of opportunities I was given by this space, the people I've met and the risks that I took are something remarkable
I'm grateful for every single thing, but also proud of myself for all of the hard work
23 and 24 were my own personal bear markets and looking back, seeing how many things you can overcome and stand much stronger afterwards - it's a hell of a feeling
that being said, I'm painfully excited for the new season, because I know we are not stopping here at all
Happy New Year CT 🫶

breaking: you can actually create amazing things with IP
it's just amazing to see Ruyui constantly delivering.I had the pleasure to work directly with @voxelqueen and always admired her drive and clarity on where she wants to take Ruyui
but you heard similar stories since 2021 right?
soo many NFT projects with insane potential, solid IPs, ambitious roadmaps, animes on the way, comic books, disney movies - only to slowly fade, disappear and leave fans with "eh, I guess that's it lol"
super happy to see Ruyui being the opposite. showing how it’s supposed to be done.
keep cooking team 🧑🍳👏

No one prepares you for the feeling that hits after you return.
The echoes of conversations still ring in your ears. Your nose is dry from the desert air. The suitcase waits, untouched, in the corner of your room.
You scroll through X with a strange emptiness, seeing post after post of gratitude - for people, for places, for moments.
And you feel hunger.
Hunger drilling into your thoughts.
Hunger for more.
No one tells you how hard it is to come back to yourself after days of being surrounded by inspiring people - minds full of ideas, charisma, and energy.
People who show you how to work with creativity, knowledge, and business.
People who, without even realizing it, planted new goals in your mind and ignited a deeper need for growth.
And now you’re back.
Back in your room. Back to the everyday.
Ambition spills out of you and stands beside, pressing you to be better, to do more. It settles on your shoulders and weighs you down.
So you take a breath.
Unpack the suitcase.
And trust that what sparked out there is still burning in here.

Takeaways from Token2049 Dubai after a successful frens network event:
1. Curating a good guest list makes a huge difference
Everyone I spoke to said the same thing: quality > quantity.
No one really cares how big the event is or how many people are there, smaller rooms are where you find the best conversations anyways
2. People remember events that feel different
We've all been to the same copypasta events with sponsored presentations and boring appetizers
Impress guests by something different that will stick like the Rug Radio event or Unfungible's Paddle tournament
Ours was an ice bath partnered with Pudgy Penguins
3. Focusing on building real friendships instead of 'networking hacks'
Some of the best intros I got were just from genuinely vibing and meeting people
Most try to go to as many events as they can in one day and end up sacrificing the quality of their conversations
