Tonight we had a Korean literature night event for the first time here at @KingstonUni. We read HAN Kang’s The White Book 흰; a lot was discussed and pondered including translation, life & death, narrative and grief. Huge thanks to @KCCUK @writerskingston and @stevenjfowler

Last day of enrolment today. The syllabus will be published on Canvas soon. If you are fine with the level of 세종한국어 1 (or even higher) the year long course that started in September should be your next goal. Any queries regarding the level, message me.

Thank you Eugene for sharing your story with us. Your speech on "Soft Masculinity and the Rise of Youth Culture in South Korea" was very informative... and threw me back a few years ago. 😉 #BTSandKU #BTSConference @BTS_twt

The #koreanlesson for today is about shopping. I’ll let the students try a simulation, imagining we are in #seoul and buy things.
