Pilibhit has exposed something far more dangerous than voter deletion.
𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁.
That is what makes the Pilibhit revelations so frightening.
The numbers tell the story-
🔹 10,470 voter entries were acknowledged by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh is Navdeep Rinwa,as having been affected, explained not merely as a “technical glitch”, he actually said, “This is not an error or negligence. This is a crime. It was done deliberately.”
The Opposition puts the figure at around 13,000.
🔹 Across just 55 booths, 2,691 voters' entries were affected, reportedly all Muslim voters. Even eight days after the problem was acknowledged, 2,638 disputed entries reportedly remained.
🔹 19 August: 656 changes in just 7 minutes.
🔹 31 August: 523 changes in 19 minutes.
Think about that first number.
656 changes in 420 seconds more than 1.5 every second.
This wasn't someone slowly correcting spelling mistakes on forms.
Individual cases are equally disturbing, an existing voter's name replaced by another person's while the EPIC number remained the same; another voter's identity reportedly changed more than once.
And how was this discovered?
Reportedly because the Urdu electoral roll had not been similarly updated, exposing the mismatch.
Now comes the question that goes to the heart of ECINET.
From April to September, 33.8 lakh corrections were approved in Uttar Pradesh, while only around 12,000 corresponding forms were publicly visible, according to the figures being reported.
And on 31 October, after the controversy erupted, the UP CEO ordered the login IDs of computer operators to be disabled.
◾Now reportedly the ECI has ordered the immediate suspension of two EROs Mayank Goswami and Hemant Chaudhary
So Indians deserve to know-
▪️Who was using those IDs before 31 October?
▪️Who initiated the Pilibhit changes?
▪️Who authorised 10,470 changes?
▪️Who approved them when the supporting records weren't found?
▪️Where are the audit logs?
▪️Who had access to ECINET?
▪️What do the digital audit logs show?
▪️And has the same pattern occurred anywhere else?
▪️And why did the system itself not flag such extraordinary bursts of changes?
◾This becomes even more serious in the context of SIR.
Across six states with an electorate of roughly 9.86 crore, only around 1,600 suspected foreigners have reportedly been identified.
Yet we are discovering extraordinary discrepancies involving the electoral records of Indian voters.
This is why Pilibhit cannot be buried under the convenient phrase “technical glitch”.
𝗖𝗘𝗖 𝗚𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗹𝘆
No silence. No bureaucratic explanation. No hiding behind software.
◾Release the complete audit trail, login ID, timestamp, initiating officer, approving officer and supporting documents for every one of these changes.
Because if someone can control the electoral database, they can decide who even arrives at the booth as a voter.
Pilibhit has therefore left India with one terrifying question -
Was Pilibhit an exception or simply the first place where the backend was caught?
And if 10,470 entries could be affected in one district..How many more Pilibhits are waiting to be uncovered?

बाद में दोनों अख़बारों की किरकिरी हुई, तो एन. राम एक छोटी-सी लाइन में माफ़ी मांगकर चलते बने; दैनिक भास्कर ने तो यह भी नहीं किया।
भैंस अपनी पूँछ की कीमत तब तक नहीं समझती जब तक उसे खो न दे। यदि लोग दंड के भय और पुरस्कार की आशा के कारण अच्छे हैं, तो हम वास्तव में दयनीय स्थिति में हैं।
सक्रिय ग्रहणशीलता की आवश्यकता है, निष्क्रिय उत्तेजना की नहीं। भाजपा सरकार के खिलाफ चार बातें लिखने पर ही हम इन अख़बारों को महान समझ लेते हैं।

मैंने अपनी जिंदगी में कभी इतना घटिया IAS ऑफिसर नहीं देखा है भाई।
मतलब जब सरकार ने बोल दिया कि रोड बनाने के पैसे नहीं हैं, तो इस IAS ऑफिसर को क्या जरूरत थी अपने से 100 किलोमीटर बड़ी रोड बनाने की? ऐसा कौन करता है भाई?
ये है 2009 बैच के IAS ऑफिसर Armstrong Pame। मणिपुर में पोस्टिंग हुई थी जहां आजादी के 60 साल बाद तक एक सड़क नहीं थी। लोग बीमारों को कंधे पर लाद के 50-50 किलोमीटर पैदल जाते थे।
जब इन्होंने सरकार से रोड के लिए फंड मांगा तो सरकार ने साफ मना कर दिया, बोला पैसा नहीं है। भाई अगर एक नॉर्मल बाबू होता तो AC कैबिन में बैठ के सैलरी गिनता। लेकिन इस बंदे की नीयत में खोट नहीं था।
इन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर गए और क्राउड फंडिंग की 40 लाख रुपये जमा किए। गांव वालों के साथ मिलकर बिना एक भी सरकारी रुपया खर्च किए 100 किलोमीटर लंबी रोड बना दी। आज लोग उसे पीपुल्स रोड के नाम से जानते हैं।
एक तरफ देश में वो ऑफिसर्स हैं जो रोड बनाने के लिए करोड़ों अपनी जेब में डाल लेते हैं।
भाई ऐसे IAS अधिकारियों को दिल से सैल्यूट, जो सिर्फ कुर्सी पर नहीं बैठते बल्कि जमीन पर उतरकर काम करते हैं। 🇮🇳
