art will not move forward or regain cultural relevance as long as it remains betrothed to legacy publications, private schools and institutions running on a 20th century model.

still confused by ppl's use of the word "humbled" to describe winning. I tend to feel most humble when rejected or failing ?

Tech guys are kind of cool because they're void of charisma or any recognizable human characteristics, impress their agoraphobia onto the wider world through unwanted innovation meant to make IRL interaction--and millions of jobs--obsolescent, and inexplicably rule us like Kings.

It's really a disservice to the general public that most of the time when ppl think of crypto they think of wealth storage/ accumulation. But the practical applications of blockchain/ smart contracts is so so so much bigger than "oh I'm rich."

If you are principally interested in art as a tool for political action, I would recommend that you instead check out this other thing, political action.

Whenever politics is allegedly 'suspended', with 'differences' put aside, you're face to face with ideology in its raw state, as the ostensible 'suspension' of antagonisms is a political act; the presupposition that there's a ground that's 'beyond politics' is bourgeois idealism

Reminder too that the Democratic establishment does not care about beating Trump. They care about maintaining control of their party and their bottom line. Feel both frustrated with and sorry for all those who continually believe otherwise.

more like a high school garbage can.๐Ÿ™„
For everyone who has clearly better things to worry about at the moment: they are having a primary today. This country is such garbage.

a great chasm between this and the e.Morris doc. he is trying to sweep his muck under the rug and hide behind bernie -like populist ideas. I guess when one thing doesn't work u have to grab onto the next. ๐Ÿ™„

the Bernie voters that will vote for Trump if Bernie isnโ€™t the nominee are republicans. Theyโ€™re people that Bernie would win over from the opposite side. Fearmongering about this is a clever negatively spun repackaging of his electability. get un-dumb, idiots

Funny, this is exactly what the US is doing to China, Iran, Venezuela & Cuba to deflect from its own abysmal failures that turned America into the world's largest corporate sacrifice zone
China and Russia have seized on the coronavirus outbreak to wage disinformation campaigns that seek to undermine the U.S. and its handling of the crisis, rather than addressing public criticism of their own struggles with the pandemic nyti.ms/3brhQ8a

i would highly recommend listening to this interview with #mikedavis. it traces all the geo, social and biological connections leading to the present crisis that mainstream media is choosing not to make apparent. instagram.com/p/B-F1sGnhZyC/โ€ฆ
