No movies, TV shows or clothes are even profoundly bad anymore… all the bad stuff is just bad in the same mediocre way

still confused by ppl's use of the word "humbled" to describe winning. I tend to feel most humble when rejected or failing ?

Tech guys are kind of cool because they're void of charisma or any recognizable human characteristics, impress their agoraphobia onto the wider world through unwanted innovation meant to make IRL interaction--and millions of jobs--obsolescent, and inexplicably rule us like Kings.

It's really a disservice to the general public that most of the time when ppl think of crypto they think of wealth storage/ accumulation. But the practical applications of blockchain/ smart contracts is so so so much bigger than "oh I'm rich."

If you are principally interested in art as a tool for political action, I would recommend that you instead check out this other thing, political action.

Whenever politics is allegedly 'suspended', with 'differences' put aside, you're face to face with ideology in its raw state, as the ostensible 'suspension' of antagonisms is a political act; the presupposition that there's a ground that's 'beyond politics' is bourgeois idealism

Reminder too that the Democratic establishment does not care about beating Trump. They care about maintaining control of their party and their bottom line. Feel both frustrated with and sorry for all those who continually believe otherwise.

the Bernie voters that will vote for Trump if Bernie isn’t the nominee are republicans. They’re people that Bernie would win over from the opposite side. Fearmongering about this is a clever negatively spun repackaging of his electability. get un-dumb, idiots

Funny, this is exactly what the US is doing to China, Iran, Venezuela & Cuba to deflect from its own abysmal failures that turned America into the world's largest corporate sacrifice zone
China and Russia have seized on the coronavirus outbreak to wage disinformation campaigns that seek to undermine the U.S. and its handling of the crisis, rather than addressing public criticism of their own struggles with the pandemic nyti.ms/3brhQ8a

So, the last week I have been battling COVID-19 & Pneumonia. Never in my life have I been this ill. “Young people aren’t at risk, they’ll only have mild symptoms” Wrong. I want to open up about the difficulties I’ve gone through these past days, what it was like in the ICU...

I’m hoping the COVID-19 crisis gives us the opportunity to not only reinvest in the older and elderly, but also for those folks to take responsibility, in an active way where they can, for the legacy they’ve left to the young. Generational solidarity could be a thing.

Joe Biden's grift is telling you "we can't talk structural transformation, we need to deal with this crisis!" Bernie recognizes that without structural transformation, crisis is the norm.
