I love you. Forever. I miss you so much every single day. We only have to find each other one more time. Next time we’ll be ready. I love you. Thank you for everything you’re doing from there. It’s working it’s helping. I’m protecting myself like you said. I love you.

I’m sure everyone has already forgotten about this but the Dominican man, Oscar Belgal, shot in the neck by ICE on 10/8, and slandered by Newsweek and others as “having a criminal history,” has just been denied medical release by a fascist judge. nytimes.com/2026/10/23/nyreg…

That’s the reason my TV never goes to the internet. It’s in a separate VLAN and it’s completely cut out of the internet. This is like this for years. I enable it occasionally to upgrade the FW because there were glitches with VRR (I have a Sony Bravia). And of course I use an Apple TV box and everyone in the house uses that.
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

So pissed we've allowed LLM's to be called AI . LLM's are not intelligent. They cannot reason like a human. If programmed well they can guess the next, most accurate thing to output after any previous output based on programmed criteria, but it doesn't "know" a goddamn thing.

I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe. Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development. • Set 600+ years after the Reaper War • You play as a customizable N7 agent • Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond • Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending • A galaxy divided into three major factions • Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together • Council races forming their own alliance • The Geth emerging as a third superpower • A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary • Geth-built megastructures • Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda • Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference • Hacking and manipulating the environment • See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more • Handcrafted missions like ME1-3 • But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them • Brutal close-range executions • Squadmates who can clash with each other • Romance wasn't being sanitised • Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist. It looked incredible. And now we may never get to play it. Find out more here: youtu.be/ZOWrTNazZxM #SaveMassEffect

“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. OMNY has this really cool feature: When your card gets declined (so you use a different card) it'll charge you $6 or $9 later when that card has money on it again even though you just paid with a different method.
NY state government is truly one of the most corrupt in the country. They recently ended the ability for city residents to buy unlimited weekly or monthly subway cards and replaced it with OMNY. Supposedly $35/week but it will go negative balance to ding you for an extra $3

Trunp indicted a black woman who is an attorney and sitting state senator, charismatic and media savvy who famously owns and operates a licensed cannabis dispensary for selling weed. I'm sure this is going to go how they think.

Did anyone else read the dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedias for fun as a kid or my parents are just psychopaths?

Airbnb went from a cheap way to crash in a spare bedroom or rent a vacation house for a weekend and turned into "what if hotels openly hated you and acted like they were doing you a favor by letting you give them hundreds of dollars to stay there, and also it's more expensive"
Airbnb hosts are melting down over a new policy banning them from making guests complete tasks that “would typically be performed by a cleaner,” like “stripping the bed, taking trash offsite, or washing and putting away dishes.” Read the full story: buff.ly/GHU32S5

The Trump administration made sharp cuts to CISA, which is tasked with protecting voting systems. Some state officials say they fear that what is left of the agency has been compromised by a conspiracy-obsessed presidential administration. propublica.org/article/cisa-…
