So we have a guy who would be willing to replace Whitt so I say we go ahead and do it
Jay Hill says he would love to be a head coach at the FBS level, but his feet are firmly on what he’s doing now at Michigan and working with his guys.

people talk about Yax age but don’t understand how late he started hooping. context matters. has constantly improved at a rapid rate since he started playing late as a teenager. his 6th year paying organized basketball is his first year in the NBA. how crazy is that?!

The playcall was not good but it’s like the one mistake he’s made all year so yeah I can def live with it
#Michigan DC Jay Hill said the last play vs. Iowa still crosses his mind. He feels the play call was good, but debated about going with another call, too.

Another really great practice!!
#Michigan WR Salesi Moa says he feels the offense is close to turning around. He adds they had a really good practice today moving the ball.

Not Gonna Lie. Yaxel Lendeborg beefing with Luka and last night 31/12/6 vs Denver is cool. But what makes him GOATED in my book is pulling up to his childhood park in Pennsauken New Jersey after NBA Summer League just to hoop with the locals. I’m from the era where coming back matters. 🎥 Fli Lights x Real Scout Basketball

We can tell lol
Michigan safety Mason Curtis on defensive coordinator Jay Hill: "To be honest, he helps us learn the game. It's not just about defense; it's about football. He takes us into the offensive coordinators' minds, tells us why they're running this, what they're looking at, who they're trying to put in conflict. He's just a smart coach."

I make no secret that I'm a Michigan fan, even if I rarely go deep on Michigan here. That said, the situation with this offense is so egregious that I'm doing a thread a day on it. Michigan fans get the receipts. Michigan haters get to savor every minute. The first three 🧵

It was a former DL player who is now playing OL how do we know he catches it? As it’s been pointed out many times the play was destined to fail as soon as it was called anyway
Whittingham on the 3rd & Goal play call that resulted in a sack: "The guy was wide open in the end zone. If the defensive end hadn't played it exactly the way he did...it's a touchdown."

It’s all Jason Beck’s fault, right?!

Jason Beck followed Bronco around like a lost puppy that’s the only reason Jason Beck had a job for 10 years
Bronco Mendenhall thinks the idea that Michigan Wolverines OC Jason Beck suddenly can’t coach is “asinine.” The Utah State head coach joined DJ & PK and defended his former player and offensive coordinator while acknowledging the pressure to deliver immediate results in college football. #michiganfootball #big10

I’ve been saying this the whole time it’s very obvious Beck doesn’t actually know what tf he’s seeing. He doesn’t understand the game. He talked about fucking PFF for fucks sake. He literally just picks plays without much thought at all. Most of his career is a joke too
The worst call in history just got worse. How did Beck and the Offensive coaches not pick this up? The goal-line play was NEVER going to work. 4th and Inches... the Left DE is spying Bryce the entire play. The DE literally reaches out and touches Bryce at the end of play. 2min later on the same drive. 3rd and Goal and the DE is spying Carr all day and blows up the play.

OSU literally tried to do this exact play to IU last week on the goal line and failed because the DE crashed exactly how we saw it. So self scout that and realize that’s probably not a great idea in that situation Every time Whitt opens his mouth, he makes it worse. Incredible
Kyle Whittingham on the 3rd and 1 playcall on his Monday radio show appearance: "Ideally, you'd like to just hammer the ball downhill inside run game and power it into the end zone. It was a bootleg and the route was wide open in the end zone. There was a guy 5 yards trying to close but he wouldn't have gotten. The DE played it exactly right and you rarely see that. To their credit, they were really well coached up on that. There was nothing on tape to show that; it was something new. Give them credit for reacting."

“The DE played it exactly right and you rarely see that”. BULL. SHIT. That DE played it the EXACT SAME WAY 4 plays earlier on the 4th down play. Take a look for yourself - he’s checking the QB the entire time. Also did it the same way vs Ohio State the week before.
