Please retweet to help Dorothy find a home, currently in #ESSEX #UK Heartbreaking 💔💔💔 Saved from being killed in a British Council pound, by a small, home run rescue. 22 Oct 2026 'Yesterday gorgeous Dorothy joined us, another unclaimed stray from the pound - she is a very lucky girl as her pound puller put her into boarding to keep her alive after there was no rescue offers after the statutory 7 days. This is not normal, after 7 days if a dog isn’t reclaimed it can be euthanised. The sad reality is so many dogs loose their lives due to irresponsible owners discarding them like rubbish. We need to do better. We didn’t have space, I watched her and I couldn’t let her die so here she is 🥰 I know her chances of finding a home are slim as people just don’t want big dogs these days, but for now, she has made friends, settled on the sofa and enjoyed her McDonald’s breakfast, and I adore her big soppy nature. She has had a really bad time recently and I am so glad we were able to help her feel safe again 😘 Welcome to the pack Dorothy - we got you sweetheart 👌 '' We're a non kill rescue that will take any animal in need of rescue - based in Essex in the UK. Very urgent, please retweet to help find a rescue shelter space for this stray dog, currently facing 'euthanasia' in a council pound #UK Wed 21 Oct 2026 💔💔💔 'PLEASE SHARE FOR RESCUE SPACE Please note this young girl is in Authority care ( council pound) and can only be released to a reputable rescue. This poor pup is only seven months old and already in this sad position. She hasn’t had the best start, I can go into her story a little with any rescues that may be able to offer her a space rather than detail on her post. She’s a super sweet girl, still a pup with lots to learn but she’s very sweet. She is good with dogs out an about and has had some good assessments away from the kennels site, I am told she has been a bit stressed with a dog on the kennels site, but I also have footage of her playing with other dogs. More info available. PLEASE SHARE FOR A RESCUE SPACE. She deserves a chance at such a young age ' CONTACT IF YOU CAN OFFER A RESCUE SPACE 👇👇👇 facebook.com/NHARescue Email [email protected] Website newhopeanimalrescue.org.uk/ This council will not allow the public to adopt. Urgent please retweet to help find a rescue shelter space for VINCE, due to be killed in a British council pound 21 Oct 2026‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ The council will not allow the public to adopt #UK URGENT - PTS WEDS 21 OCT💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 RESCUE SPACE NEEDED **NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE REHOMING** *Dogs are not cat or child tested so foster homes must have no cats or children under 16* PLEASE PM ME Christina Marie Bracken Knighton IF YOU CAN HELP as I may NOT see comments PLEASE PLEDGE TO HELP RESCUES BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO SAVE THEM. Pledges will be collected for rescue costs, if saved and will be used towards transport, vet fees, kennelling etc. Pledges so far: £151 ( 15 Oct 2026) Please do NOT pay to any other Paypal account and only AFTER the post is marked SAFE direct to: [email protected] paypal.me/ChristinaMBracken Info from dog pound: Vince • Male, Staffie x • 5ish years old • People Friendly • No reactivity seen to other dogs From kennels: When he was collected he had one of the worst flea infestations we have seen, he was literally crawling with them. Vince was so itchy he had made himself bleed from biting at himself. As you can see, with treatment he's now flea free and his coat is starting to look really good. He is unchipped, so no age on him but I would say 5+ but not old. Vince doesn't seem to have any dog issues from what we have seen. Vince is very vocal in kennels, to the point where he is making himself cough. We thought initially he had KC so he's been isolated for 3 weeks on treatment, no other dogs have come down with it so we think he is giving himself a sore throat from barking and it isn't KC. He needs to be taught some manners and that if he's quiet he will get a reward (he's food and treat orientated), and if he shouts he gets nothing. He was picking this up pretty quickly with me this morning, so he seems quite smart and trainable. Clean in his kennel and loves his food x In UK dog pound but transport can be arranged. Please note: THIS POUND WILL NOT RELEASE DOGS TO THE PUBLIC - A RESCUE HAS TO GIVE RBU Also please reach out to your local rescues to see if they can help.
